Fastening device for optical disc holder
Abstract
A fastening device for an optical disc holder according to the present invention includes a fixed clamp and at least a resilient clamp formed on a carrier. The fixed clamp and the resilient clamp are formed on opposite positions along a longitudinal direction on at least one side of the carrier for holding the rim of the disc by resilient force of the resilient clamp. The resilient clamp locates against the insertion direction of the optical disc so as to be moved for receiving the disc when being pressed, and retrieve to a normal position for fastening the disc in place by incorporation with the fixed clamp.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A fastening device applicable to a carrier, fixedly mounted in a cassette, for holding an optical disc, comprising:
a receptacle, formed on said carrier, having a diameter larger than the diameter of said optical disc; a fixed clamp, set on rim of said receptacle, locating on a tail direction of insertion of the optical disc; and at least one resilient clamp, set on rim of said receptacle at an opposite position to said fixed clamp, locating on a head direction of insertion of the optical disc; wherein said fixed clamp and said resilient clamp provide for holding the rim of said optical disc and said resilient clamp is pressed for selective receiving and releasing rim of the disc by resilience of said resilient clamp.
2 . A fastening device for an optical disc holder according to claim 1 , wherein said cassette comprises:
a base shell having a cavity for containing said carrier; and a cover pivotally mounted on one side of said base shell so as to be selevtively folded for covering and opening said cavity.
3 . A fastening device for an optical disc holder according to claim 1 , wherein said receptacle is formed with a diameter accommodating the rim of said optical disc.
4 . A fastening device for an optical disc holder according to claim 1 , wherein the carrier is formed with a ring at center thereof for keeping a space between the optical disc and said carrier.
5 . A fastening device for an optical disc holder according to claim 1 , wherein said resilient clamp comprises a connecting portion extending from said receptacle, and a resilient portion suspending from said connecting portion.
6 . A fastening device for an optical disc holder according to claim 5 , wherein said resilient portion is formed into a curve corresponding to the shape of said optical disc and a clamp portion is formed on end of said resilient portion extending in a direction to top of said carrier.
7 . A fastening device applicable to a carrier, removably mounted in a box, for holding an optical disc, comprising:
a fixed clamp, set on rim of said carrier, locating on a tail direction of insertion of the optical disc; at least one resilient clamp, set on rim of said carrier at an opposite position to said fixed clamp, locating on a head direction of insertion of the optical disc, and be depressed by said insertion and moved for selective receiving and releasing rim of the disc by resilience of said resilient clamp; and at least one linking element for removably linking said carrier in said box.
8 . A fastening device for an optical disc holder according to claim 7 , wherein said carrier includes at least one hook.
9 . A fastening device for an optical disc holder according to claim 7 , wherein said carrier is capable of hanging on a rod or the like with said hook.
10 . A fastening device for an optical disc holder according to claim 7 , wherein said carrier is formed with a through hole at center thereof; a ring formed around said through hole for keeping a space between the optical disc and said carrier.
11 . A fastening device for an optical disc holder according to claim 7 , wherein said carrier is formed with a marking portion on rim thereof for carrying a label.
12 . A fastening device for an optical disc holder according to claim 7 , wherein said carrier is formed with a protection wall on outer side of said resilient clamp for limiting the extent of movement of said resilient clamp.
13 . A fastening device for an optical disc holder according to claim 7 , wherein said fixed clamp including a first wall extruding perpendicularly from surface of said carrier, and a second wall extending from said first wall in a direction facing the bottom side of said carrier, wherein the height of said first wall is larger than thickness of said optical disc.
14 . A fastening device for an optical disc holder according to claim 7 , wherein said resilient clamp comprises a connecting portion extending from said carrier, and a resilient portion suspending from said connecting portion.
15 . A fastening device for an optical disc holder according to claim 14 , wherein said resilient portion is formed into a curve corresponding to the shape of said optical disc and a clamp portion is formed on end of said resilient portion extending in a direction to top of said carrier.
16 . A fastening device for an optical disc holder according to claim 7 , wherein both sides of said carrier are formed with fixed clamps and resilient clamps so as to hold two optical discs.
17 . A fastening device for an optical disc holder according to claim 7 , wherein said box comprising:
an upper shell; a lower shell coordinate with said upper shell for forming a cavity; and a connecting wall pivotally connecting said upper shell and said lower shell to be folded to close, and open the cavity.
18 . A fastening device for an optical disc holder according to claim 7 , wherein said connecting element comprises at least one rod fixed on one end of said carrier, and at least clamp formed on said connecting wall of said box.
19 . A fastening device for an optical disc holder according to claim 18 , wherein said carrier is formed with a hole for mounting a rod to be grasped by said clamp.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
