Abstract

This invention relates to a system for producing a frequency modulated picture and/or sound signal on the basis of execution of multimedia content, wherein the system comprises a first unit configured for receiving a sound signal and a picture signal from a multi-media terminal like a PC, computer, etc. configured for executing multimedia content, wherein the first unit is further configured for frequency modulating and combining said sound signal and picture signal to one single combined picture and sound signal, and a second unit configured for receiving said combined picture and sound signal and configured for combining said combined signal with at least one further signal resulting in a first signal. Hereby a simple system is provided that will in a simple and efficient manner enable the provision of multimedia content from a computer, PC, etc, such that it can be displayed/played on one or more standard media apparatus(es) like a TV-set, a music-set, etc. where the system requires very little additional wiring and is easy to install. A wireless control unit may be used to alter and control the multimedia execution on the multimedia terminal. Besides, the invention relates to a method of producing a picture and/or sound signal on the background of the execution of multimedia content, and a method/protocol for communication between a control unit and a wireless communication unit.
