Abstract
A building-structure seal ensures water-tight sealing of joints or other building-structure regions which are susceptible to moisture. A strip-like intermediate layer is disposed on or between floors, ceilings and walls. The intermediate layer is constructed as a sealing profile with at least one profiled surface having positive profile portions and negative profile portions.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
. A building-structure seal, comprising:
strip-like intermediate layers to be disposed on or between floors, ceilings and walls, said intermediate layers each constructed as a sealing profile with at least one profiled surface having positive profile portions and negative profile portions.
. The building-structure seal according to claim 1 , including an adhesive filling said negative profile portions directed toward a floor, ceiling or wall surface.
. The building-structure seal according to claim 2 , including a sheet covering said adhesive before using said sealing profile, said sheet to be removed or destroyed when used.
. The building-structure seal according to claim 1 , wherein said sealing profile has at least one end side with a with a cross-sectional shape selected from the group consisting of a serrated end side, a corrugated end side and a trapezoidal end side.
. The building-structure seal according to claim 4 , wherein said cross-sectional shape of said end side extends over a length of said sealing profile.
. The building-structure seal according to claim 1 , wherein said profiled surface of said sealing profile is selected from the group consisting of a corrugated profiled surface and a profiled surface similar to a profile of a motor-vehicle tire.
. The building-structure seal according to claim 1 , wherein said at least one profiled surface of said sealing profile includes a profiled surface disposed on each side.
. The building-structure seal according to claim 7 , wherein said negative profile portions have a rear side, said sealing profile has a top side and an underside, and said rear side of said negative profile portions on said top side of said sealing profile form a front side of said positive profile portions of said underside of said sealing profile.
. The building-structure seal according to claim 1 , wherein said positive profile portions; extend uninterruptedly in a longitudinal direction of said sealing profile.
. The building-structure seal according to claim 1 , wherein said sealing profile has a cross section with a regular pattern of equidistant maxima and minima of the same height and depth.
. The building-structure seal according to claim 1 , wherein said sealing profile is formed from plastic.
. The building-structure seal according to claim 11 , wherein said sealing profile is coextruded and has an elastic central part between non-elastic border regions.
. The building-structure seal according to claim 12 , wherein said elastic central part is to be disposed over joints of structural parts of a building.
. The building-structure seal according to claim 1 , wherein said sealing profile has a regularly serrated cross section with sub-surfaces alternately assuming angles α and α′=in relation to the horizontal.
. The building-structure seal according to claim 14 , wherein α is between 25° and 55°.
. The building-structure seal according to claim 1 , wherein said sealing profiles have lateral border regions with shortened sub-surfaces constructed to correspond with adjacent sealing profiles to be coupled thereto.
. The building-structure seal according to claim 1 , including a prefabricated unit having an end-side region with a side, said sealing profile being adhesively bonded in at least one of said end-side region and said side of said end-side region of said prefabricated unit and projecting beyond the same.
. The building-structure seal according to claim 1 , wherein said sealing profile is one of a plurality of sealing profiles disposed one above the other for bridging gaps.
. The building-structure seal according to claim 1 , wherein said sealing profile is a strip having a length of a number of meters.
. The building-structure seal according to claim 1 , wherein said sealing profile is a sealing material to be unwound from a roll.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
