Abstract

A wear-resistant lining element for a wall exposed to wear, over which piece goods or particulate goods, such as crushed ore and crushed stone material, are intended to move in a transport direction, has compartments ( 2 ) which are adapted to receive the transported goods. The compartments ( 2 ) are upwardly open and defined by partition walls ( 3 ) which are made of an elastic material. Also a wear lining is described which is made of a number of wear-resistant lining elements.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:

1 . A wear-resistant lining element for a wall exposed to wear, over which piece goods or particulate goods, such as crushed ore and crushed stone material, are intended to move in a transport direction (T), said wear-resistant lining element having compartments ( 2 ) which are adapted to receive the transported goods and which are upwardly open and defined by partition walls ( 3 ), characterized in that the partition walls are made of an elastic material.

         2 . A wear-resistant lining element as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the partition walls ( 3 ) are made of a material with a hardness of 40-95 Shore A.

         3 . A wear-resistant lining element as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the partition walls ( 3 ) are made of a material with a hardness of 70-80 Shore A.

         4 . A wear-resistant lining element as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the partition walls ( 3 ) are made of a material having a hardness of 70-75 Shore A.

5 . A wear-resistant lining element as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, wherein the partition walls ( 3 ) are made of an elastomeric material.

6 . A wear-resistant lining element as claimed in claim 5 , which in its entirety is made of an elastomeric material.

7 . A wear-resistant lining element as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, wherein the compartments ( 2 ) in a plan view have a shape having at least one corner in the compartment part positioned downstream in the transport direction (T).

8 . A wear-resistant lining element as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, wherein the compartments ( 2 ) in a plan view have an essentially square shape.

9 . A wear-resistant lining element as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, whose surface provided with compartments is wave-shaped in the transport direction (T).

10 . A wear-resistant lining element as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the wave shape is such that upstream surface portions of the surface provided with compartments have a steeper inclination than downstream surface portions.

11 . A wear-resistant lining element as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, which at a lateral edge has a recess ( 6 ) and at an opposite lateral edge a projection ( 4 ), the projection ( 4 ) and the recess ( 6 ) being formed so that the recess ( 6 ) of one wear-resistant lining element is joinable with the projection ( 4 ) of a neighboring wear-resistant lining element for interconnecting the wear-resistant lining elements.

12 . A wear-resistant lining element as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, which at two opposite lateral edges has recesses ( 10 ) which are open towards said lateral edges, said recesses being adapted to hold connecting devices ( 9 ).

13 . A wear lining for a wall exposed to wear, over which piece goods or particulate goods, such as crushed ore and crushed stone material, are intended to move in a transport direction (T), said wear lining being made of a number of wear-resistant lining elements ( 1 ) as claimed in any one of the preceding claims.

14 . A wear lining as claimed in claim 13 , in which the surface of the wear-resistant lining elements ( 1 ) which is provided with compartments is wave-shaped in the transport direction (T).
