Device for controlling fluid supply particularly for sanitary systems

Abstract

A device for controlling the supply of fluids, such as water and/or air, particularly for whirlpool baths and shower cubicles, which comprises a unit for processing the signal that arrives from an audio system, which can be activated selectively by the user, and is suitable to control and adjust the operation of supply devices for the whirlpool bath and/or shower cubicle.

What is claimed is:  
     
         1 . A device for controlling a fluid supply for sanitary systems including fluid supply devices, comprising: an audio system for emitting signals, and a processing unit for processing a signal that arrives from said audio system, said processing unit being provided so as to be activated selectively by a user, to control and adjust operation of the supply devices of the sanitary systems.  
     
     
         2 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein said processing unit comprises control devices for controlling flow activation and flow rate of fluids delivered by the supply devices of the sanitary systems, the fluids being constituted by air and water and the sanitary systems comprising shower cubicles, whirlpool baths and mini-spas.  
     
     
         3 . The device of  claim 2 , wherein said processing unit comprises at least one audio filter which is actuatable to modify the signal outputed by said audio system, said signal being a music signal.  
     
     
         4 . The device of  claim 3 , wherein said audio system is constituted by a radio receiver system of a known type, of any of an amplitude-modulation and frequency-modulation type, said audio system being provided connected to said control device by way of electrical cables of a known type, and in a preferred configuration is integrated in said control device.  
     
     
         5 . The device of  claim 4 , wherein said at least one audio filter is of a passive type and adapted to select only selected particular bands of an audio signal in input, corresponding to desired types of audio signals.  
     
     
         6 . The device of  claim 5 , further comprising a selection device, and a plurality of audio filters, said selection device being a keypad, adapted to send the audio signal in input toward a selected one of the audio filters.  
     
     
         7 . The device of  claim 6 , comprising six audio filters, each of which is adapted to process a specific audio signal in input, which corresponds to a selectable musical genre.  
     
     
         8 . The device of  claim 6 , further comprising loudspeakers, said processing unit comprising at least one microprocessor adapted to control said audio filters and said selection device, and to process the audio signal in output from a selected one of said audio filters, and to emit said audio signal through said loudspeakers.  
     
     
         9 . The device of  claim 8 , wherein said at least one microprocessor processes an electrical signal in output from a selected one of said audio filters so as to obtain a control and adjustment signal for controlling operation of said supply devices of said whirlpool baths, shower cubicles and mini-spas.  
     
     
         10 . The device of  claim 9 , comprising a hydraulic circuit including at least one water inflow means which comprise jets, outlets and nozzles, said supply devices including at least one hydraulic pump adapted to circulate water inside said hydraulic circuit.  
     
     
         11 . The device of  claim 10 , comprising an additional supply device, for propelling gases which is located in said whirlpool baths and mini-spas, said additional supply device being constituted by a blower which acts so as to send air under pressure into said whirlpool baths and mini-spas.  
     
     
         12 . The device of  claim 11 , further comprising electric valves for regulating injection and inflow of water and air in said jets, outlets and nozzles, actuation of said electric valves being controlled by said processing unit as a function of the signal delivered in output by a selected one of said audio filters.  
     
     
         13 . The device of  claim 12 , wherein said processing unit controls flow-rate regulation of water outflow provided by said water inflow means, as a function of an amplitude of a processed audio signal.  
     
     
         14 . The device of  claim 13 , wherein water and gas outflow from said water inflow means and additional supply device is provided at staggered locations as a function of a position of said supply and additional supply means in said sanitary systems.  
     
     
         15 . The device of  claim 1  wherein the audio system that emits said signals for input to said processing unit is an external audio source, selected from a group comprising stereos, radio systems, television sets and electronic computers.
