Abstract
An anchorable wave ride, including an anchor, attached to an anchor line, releasably connected to an anchor line attachment, which is attached to a flexible, elongated, shock-absorbing flotation core having a passenger stabilizer attached and positioned to the core for supporting a rider; thereby providing a buoyant, anchorable, vertically stable, and shock absorbing ride such the rider can enjoy the ocean waves on the ride.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An anchorable wave ride, comprising:
a flexible, elongated, shock-absorbing flotation core, an anchor line attachment releasably connected to the flotation core; a passenger stabilizer attached to the flotation core and positioned to support a rider; thereby providing a buoyant, anchorable, vertically stable, and shock absorbing ride such that the rider can enjoy the ocean waves on the ride.
2 . The device as in claim 1 , further including at least one handgrip that is grippable by the rider when positioned in the passenger stabilizer.
3 . The device as in claim 1 wherein the passenger stabilizer includes a seat, a flotation core fastener for removably securing the seat onto the core, at least one foot support connector, and at least one foot support, configured to support the rider and provide foot support for the rider.
4 . The device as in claim 3 wherein the at least one foot support is two foot supports.
5 . The device as in claim 3 wherein the at least one foot support connector can also function as a directional surface for providing the rider with the capacity to direct and redirect the ride with respect to waves and currents.
6 . The device as in claim 1 further including a keel for providing additional directional and vertical stability.
7 . An anchorable wave ride, comprising:
an anchor, attached to an anchor line, releasably connected to an anchor line attachment, which is attached to a flexible, elongated, shock-absorbing flotation core having a passenger stabilizer attached and positioned to the core for supporting a rider; thereby providing a buoyant, anchorable, vertically stable, and shock absorbing ride such the rider can enjoy the ocean waves on the ride.
8 . The device as in claim 7 , further including at least one handgrip that is grippable by the rider when positioned in the passenger stabilizer.
9 . The device as in claim 7 wherein the passenger stabilizer includes a seat, a flotation core fastener for removaebly securing the seat onto the core, at least one foot support connector, and at least one foot support, configured to support the rider and provide foot support for the rider.
10 . The device as in claim 9 wherein the at least one foot support is two foot supports.
11 . The device as in claim 9 wherein the at least one foot support connector can also function as a directional surface for providing the rider with the capacity to direct and redirect the ride with respect to waves and currents.
12 . The device as in claim 7 further including a keel for providing additional directional and vertical stability.
13 . The device as in claim 7 wherein an energy-absorbing device is connected to the anchor line for allowing the rider and the ride to float over passing waves.
14 . The device as in claim 7 wherein a rigid anchor line extension is connected between the anchor line and the wave ride anchor line attachment for preventing rider entanglement with the anchor line.
15 . A passenger stabilizer for an aquatic ride, comprising: a seat; a flotation core connector that is connectable to a flotation core;
at least one foot support having at least one foot support connector connected to the seat for providing foot support to a rider when the seat is attached to a flotation core; wherein the seat is connected to the flotation core connector for supporting at least one rider when attached to a flotation core; thereby providing stability to a passenger when attached to a flotation core and used in water.
16 . The device as in claim 15 , wherein the at least one foot support connector can also function as a directional surface for providing the rider with the capacity to direct and redirect the ride with respect to waves and currents.
17 . The device as in claim 15 , further including an anchor line attachment that is releasably connectable to an anchor line.
18 . The device as in claim 15 , further including a keel for providing additional directional and vertical stability.
19 . The device as in claim 15 , further including an anchor line extension that is releasably connectable to an anchor line.
20 . The device as in claim 15 , further including a pre-ride directional surface for enhancing the wave-riding performance of the ride.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
