Abstract

This invention relates to a closing device ( 10 ) for a bag ( 1 ), particularly an insulated bag ( 1 ), comprising a first section ( 100 ) fitted with a handle ( 103 ) and fixed along part of the periphery on the side on which the bag ( 1 ) is open, and a second section ( 110 ) fixed by a portion of its said external surface along another part of this periphery and through which a hole is formed along a centre line (A) in which, the handle ( 103 ) can be inserted in a plane containing the centre line of the hole and the said insertion plane. This closing device is characterised in that it comprises means of fixing the handle ( 103 ) in the position inserted in the hole in the second section ( 110 ).

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . Closing device ( 10 ) for a bag ( 1 ), comprising a first section ( 100 ) fitted with a handle ( 103 ) and fixed along part of the periphery on the side on which the bag ( 1 ) is open, and a second section ( 110 ) fixed by a portion of its said external surface along another part of this periphery and through which a hole is formed along a centre line (A) in which, the handle ( 103 ) can be inserted in a plane containing the centre line of the hole and the said insertion plane, characterised in that it comprises means of fixing the handle ( 103 ) in the position inserted in the hole in the second section ( 110 ), these fixing means comprising at least two pins ( 114 , 115 ) protecting from the surface opposite the external surface of the second section ( 110 ) and the said internal surface, along a direction perpendicular to the insertion plane and located along the insertion plane on each side of the hole, and the fixing means also comprise stop means ( 102 ) for the pins ( 114 , 115 ) in the direction of extraction of the handle ( 103 ) in the inserted position, on the first section ( 100 ).

2 . Closing device ( 10 ) according to claim 1 , characterised in that the second section ( 110 ) comprises a parallelepiped-shaped plate ( 111 ) through which the hole is drilled and two flanges ( 112 , 113 ) extending on each side of this plate ( 111 ) perpendicular to and in the same direction as the two edges parallel to the insertion plane.

         3 . Device ( 10 ) according to claim 2 , characterised in that the pins ( 114 , 115 ) are formed on a flange ( 112 ) of the second section.

         4 . Device ( 10 ) according to claim 2 or 3 , characterised in that the hole has a rectangular cross-section and it is centred on the parallelepiped-shaped plate ( 111 ).

5 . Device ( 10 ) according to one of claims 2 to 4 , characterised in that one flange ( 113 ) is longer than the other.

6 . Device ( 10 ) according to claim 5 , characterised in that the longest flange ( 113 ) is fixed by a portion of its external surface onto the internal surface of the bag ( 1 ).

7 . Device according to one of claims 2 to 6 , characterised in that the first section ( 100 ) is composed of a rigid band with a given thickness less than the distance separating the two flanges ( 112 , 113 ), and a strip ( 102 ) forming stop means is formed along one side of this band called the outer face, and in that the handle is fixed on the edge adjacent to this longitudinal edge ( 103 ).

8 . Device ( 10 ) according to one of claims 5 to 7 , characterised in that the pins ( 114 , 115 ) are formed on the smallest flange ( 112 ) of the second profile ( 110 ) at a distance from the parallelepiped-shaped part significantly greater than the width of the strip ( 102 ) and their free end is located at a distance from the other flange less than the thickness (e′) of the edge ( 105 ) of the first section supporting the handle ( 103 ).

9 . Device according to claim 7 or 8 , characterised in that the first section is fixed on the inside surface of the bag ( 1 ) through the part of the external face not occupied by the strip ( 102 ).

10 . Use of the closing device for an insulated bag ( 1 ) according to claims 1 to 9 , this bag being composed of a polyethylene foam ( 15 ) sandwiched between a food quality polyethylene sheet ( 16 ) on the inside of the bag ( 1 ), and a metallised polyester sheet ( 14 ), and a sheet of transparent polyethylene is placed on the outside of this sheet.
