Fiber-reactive disazo compounds

Abstract

The invention is related to compounds according to the formula (I) and salts thereof, or mixtures of such compounds or of their salts, wherein the substituents have the meanings as defined in claim 1; these compounds are useful as fiber-reactive dyestuffs in dyeing and printing hydroxy-group-containing and nitrogen-containing organic substrates.

1 . Compounds of formula (I)  
       
         
           
           
               
               
           
         
       
       and salts thereof, or mixtures of such compounds or of their salts, wherein 
 X is a group —CH═CH 2  or —CH 2 CH 2 Y, wherein Y is —OH or a group which can be split off under alkaline conditions,  
 R 1  is H, —SO 3 H, —COOH, —OCH 3 , or —CH 3 ,  
 R 2  is C 1-4 alkyl or C 1-4 hydroxyalkyl,  
 Z is —Cl or —F.  
 
     
     
         2 . Compounds of formula (I) according to  claim 1  wherein Y is —OSO 3 H, —Cl or —SSO 3 H.  
     
     
         3 . Compounds of formula (I) according to  claim 1  wherein R 1  is —H or —SO 3 H.  
     
     
         4 . Compounds of formula (I) according to  claim 1  wherein R 2  is —CH 3 , —CH 2 CH 3  or —CH 2 CH 2 OH.  
     
     
         5 . Compounds of formula (I) according to  claim 1  wherein Y is —OSO 3 H.  
     
     
         6 . Compounds of formula (I) according to  claim 1  wherein R 1  is —H.  
     
     
         7 . Compounds of formula (I) according to  claim 1  wherein R 2  is —CH 3  or —CH 2 CH 3 .

       and salts thereof and mixtures of such compounds or of their salts, wherein R 2  is —CH 3  or —CH 2 CH 3  and Z is —Cl or —F.  
     
     
         9 . A process for the preparation of compounds of formula (I) or mixtures thereof which is characterized by coupling a compound of formula (II)

         10 . A process for the preparation of inkjet printing inks comprising the use of a dyestuff or a mixture of dyestuffs according to  claim 1 .  
     
     
         11 . A process of dyeing or printing hydroxy-group-containing or nitrogen-containing organic substrates wherein the dyeing or printing is performed with compounds according to  claim 1 , their salts or mixtures thereof.  
     
     
         12 . Hydroxy-group-containing or nitrogen-containing organic substrates dyed or printed with compounds as defined in  claim 1 , their salts or mixtures thereof.  
     
     
         13 . Textile material according to  claim 12  consisting of or containing cotton dyed or printed with compounds, their salts or mixtures thereof.  
     
     
         14 . Compounds as hereinabove described with reference to any of the Examples 1 to 12.
