Scaffold supporting system

Abstract

A portable scaffold supporting system which is removably secured to a construction wall. The portable scaffold supporting system comprises a frame having an upper end connected by an extension bar to the lower end. The upper end is comprised of a bracket which removably secures the system to any construction wall prior to, as well as after installation of the roof.

I claim:  
     
         1 . A portable scaffold supporting system for removably securing to a support structure, the scaffold supporting system comprising: 
 an adjustable vertical extension bar having an upper end and a lower end, wherein the upper end is removably secured under the sheathing but over the top of the wall of the structure so that the scaffold supporting system is spaced off of the wall of the structure;    an upper end having a bracket hook attaching means with a thin front portion having a hook with a middle portion which is flat in order to securely receive the board of a top plate while the back portion of the attaching means is a flat member directly secured to the vertical extension bar;    a lower end having a flat bar at the base of the adjustable vertical extension bar which extends outward horizontally to both sides of the vertical extension bar, wherein attached to the flat bar is a support bar extending upwardly and attaching directly to a horizontal arm for engaging the scaffold.    
     
     
         2 . The portable scaffold supporting system of  claim 1 , wherein portability is provided through the use of two pins which provide for the ability to removably secure the upper end and horizontal arm from the vertical extension bar.  
     
     
         3 . A scaffold supporting system which provides for a portable or ridgid system.  
     
     
         4 . A scaffold supporting system which provides for an attaching means wherein a top hanging support is directly attached to the vertical extension bar in order to provide for a direct attachment to the exterior construction wall.  
     
     
         5 . A scaffold supporting system which provides for an attaching means wherein a top hanging support is directly attached to the vertical extension bar wherein the upper end provides for a plurality of apertures in order to nail or otherwise attach the scaffold support system to the wall of the structure.  
     
     
         6 . A scaffold supporting system is designed with a plurality of safety features which provide for a smooth surface which will not cut the skin or catch on clothing in order to enhance safety on the job.
