Abstract
In a sun room awning, comprising a rotating-drivable roll bar with an awning cloth, lateral guide rails for the awning cloth, and tensioning straps as well as tautening means for the awning cloth that engage at the front end of the awning cloth or at a drop-out rail, it is provided that the tensioning straps are designed elastic in the longitudinal direction, at least in sections, to exert tension onto the awning cloth in order to achieve a construction ensuring a taut, visually attractive fit regardless of the extended position of the awning cloth.
