Adjustable areola and nipple prosethesis

Abstract

A non-surgical device used to duplicate a protruding or non-protruding nipple and areola containing sebaceous glands (Montgomery follicles) and sweat glands, creating the most natural looking nipple and areola possible. The device will function as a nipple prosthesis, nipple enhancer or a nipple protector. At the user's discretion, the vertex can be shaped in several polyhedral angles, such as rounded, squared and pointed. The nipple portion may be custom sized by cutting for either erect, non-erect, rounded, squared or have a pointed look or it may be left in its original size. The nipple portion of the device can be eliminated to give the user a smooth appear and provide a nipple protector from nipple friction that causes chaffing, sun damage and protect sensitive nipples. The areola will be thin and flexible and may be custom sized by cutting to fit the users personal size preference or it may be left in it's original size if preferred by the user. The areola of the device will have custom cut lines, thus allowing the user to have a guide when custom sizing the areola to the users specifications. The user can also cut the device to their own measurement, not relying on the custom cut lines. It may adhere to the natural breast, chest, nipple, synthetic breast, breast enhancer, breast prosthesis or it can also be placed into or on top of a brassiere or any type of clothing or lining in clothing by means of double sided adhesive circle or by means of adhesive of the users choice. The device will be American made thus aiding the economy by producing jobs for American people through manufacturing, packaging and disturbing the product or device.

What is claimed:  
     
         1 . An adjustable areola and nipple prosthesis comprising: 
 an areola having a thin and flexible inner surface and an outer concave surface, the outer concave surface including a central portion and an exterior portion, said exterior portion containing rounded sebaceous glands (montgomery follicles) and rounded sweat glands; and    a nipple protruding outwardly from the central portion of the outer concave surface of the areola; 
 wherein said areola and said nipple may be adjusted in size, shape and height.  
   
     
     
         2 . The adjustable areola and nipple prosthesis of  claim 1  wherein said prosthesis includes cut lines.  
     
     
         3 . The adjustable areola and nipple prosthesis of  claim 1  wherein said prosthesis is constructed of a materials selected from the group consisting of: Petrochemicals, Thermoplastics, Latex-Plastics, Rubber, Foam Rubber, Silicone, Vinyl-PVC, Woven Materials, Fabric, Textiles, Paper Goods, Natural Latex, Acrylates Copolymer, Triethanolamine, Propylene, Clycol, Diazolidnyl Uera, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Polyesters, Cellulosic, Derivative Materials, Fluorinated Polymers, Epoxies, Phenolics, Collagen, Hydrogels, Elastic and Vulcanized Rubber and combinations thereof.  
     
     
         4 . The adjustable areola and nipple prosthesis of  claim 1  wherein said prosthesis is made of a colored material.  
     
     
         5 . The adjustable areola and nipple prosthesis of  claim 1  wherein said prosthesis is made of a flavored material.  
     
     
         6 . The adjustable areola and nipple prosthesis of  claim 1  wherein said prosthesis further comprises an adhesive on the inner surface of the areola.  
     
     
         7 . The adjustable areola and nipple prosthesis of  claim 5  wherein the adhesive is provided as one or more adhesive circles.  
     
     
         8 . The adjustable areola and nipple prosthesis of  claim 1  wherein said prosthesis further comprises an adhesive on the outer concave surface of the areola.  
     
     
         9 . The adjustable areola and nipple prosthesis of  claim 7  wherein the adhesive is provides as one or adhesive circles.  
     
     
         10 . The adjustable areola and nipple prosthesis of  claim 1  wherein said nipple is square in shape.  
     
     
         11 . The adjustable areola and nipple prosthesis of  claim 1  wherein said nipple is rounded in shape.  
     
     
         12 . The adjustable areola and nipple prosthesis of  claim 1  wherein the areola has a diameter of from about 0.5 to about 3 inches.  
     
     
         13 . The adjustable areola and nipple prosthesis of  claim 1  wherein the nipple has a height of from about 0.25 to about 1 inch in height.  
     
     
         14 . The adjustable areola prosthesis comprising an areola having an thin and flexible inner surface and an outer concave surface, the outer concave surface including a central portion and an exterior portion, said exterior portion containing sebaceous glands (montgomery follicles) and sweat glands, wherein said areola may be adjusted in size.  
     
     
         15 . The adjustable areola and nipple prosthesis of  claim 1  wherein said prosthesis includes cut lines.  
     
     
         16 . The adjustable areola prosthesis of  claim 13  wherein said prosthesis is constructed of a materials selected from the group consisting of: Petrochemicals, Thermoplastics, Latex-Plastics, Rubber, Foam Rubber, Silicone, Vinyl-PVC, Woven Materials, Fabric, Textiles, Paper Goods, Natural Latex, Acrylates Copolymer, Triethanolamine, Propylene, Clycol, Diazolidnyl Uera, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Polyesters, Cellulosic, Derivative Materials, Fluorinated Polymers, Epoxies, Phenolics, Collagen, Hydrogels, Elastic and Vulcanized Rubber and combinations thereof.  
     
     
         17 . The adjustable areola prosthesis of  claim 13  wherein said prosthesis is made of a colored material.

         19 . The adjustable areola prosthesis of  claim 13  wherein said prosthesis further comprises an adhesive on the inner thin and flexible surface of the areola.  
     
     
         20 . The adjustable areola prosthesis of  claim 17  wherein the adhesive is provided as one of more adhesive circles.  
     
     
         21 . The adjustable areola prosthesis of  claim 13  wherein said prosthesis further comprises an adhesive on the outer concave surface of the areola.  
     
     
         22 . The adjustable areola prosthesis of  claim 19  wherein the adhesive is provided as one or more adhesive circles.  
     
     
         23 . The adjustable areola prosthesis of  claim 13  wherein said prosthesis further comprises an adhesive on the outer and inner surface of the areola.

         25 . A method of enhancing breast appearance, the method comprising; 
 forming an adjustable areola and nipple prosthesis to a desired size;    attaching the adjustable prosthesis, 
 wherein the adjustable prosthesis includes an areola having an thin and flexible inner surface and an outer concave surface, the outer concave surface including a central portion and an exterior portion, said exterior portion containing rounded sebaceous glands (montgomery follicles) and rounded sweat glands; and a nipple protruding outwardly from the central portion of the outer concave surface of the areola.  
   
     
     
         26 . A method of preventing nipple protrusion, the method comprising; 
 forming an adjustable areola prosthesis to a desired size;    attaching the adjustable prosthesis, 
 wherein the adjustable prosthesis includes an areola have an inner surface and an outer concave surface, the outer concave surface including a central portion and an exterior portion, said exterior portion containing rounded sebaceous glands (montgomery follicles) and rounded sweat glands.
