Golf course and associated tee
Abstract
A golf course has a single fairway having a first green disposed at a first end of the fairway for play from the fairway, and a second green disposed at a second end of the fairway for play from the fairway. A first tee is disposed approximately at the first end of the fairway for play onto the fairway towards the second green, whiule a second tee is disposed approximately at the second end of the fairway for play onto the fairway towards the first green. At least one of the tees includes a supporting framework and a shell, the framework and the shell being movable together relative to the fairway.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A golf course comprising:
a fairway having a first end and a second end; a first green disposed at said first end of said fairway for play from said fairway; a second green disposed at said second end of said fairway for play from said fairway; a first tee disposed approximately at said first end of said fairway for play onto said fairway towards said second green; and a second tee disposed approximately at said second end of said fairway for play onto said fairway towards said first green, at least one of said tees including a supporting framework and a shell, said framework and said shell being movable together relative to said fairway.
2 . The golf course defined in claim 1 wherein said fairway is the only fairway of said golf course and accommodates more than two holes of a golf game.
3 . The golf course defined in claim 2 , further comprising:
a third green disposed along said fairway intermediate between said first green and said second green; a third tee disposed approximately at said third green for play onto said fairway towards said first green; and a fourth tee disposed approximately at said third green for play onto said fairway towards said second green.
4 . The golf course defined in claim 3 , further comprising:
a fifth tee disposed approximately at said first end of said fairway for play onto said fairway towards said third green; and a sixth tee disposed approximately at said second end of said fairway for play onto said fairway towards said third green, at least one of said third tee, said fourth tee, said fifth tee and said sixth tee including an additional supporting framework and an additional shell, said additional supporting framework and said additional shell being movable together relative to said fairway.
5 . The golf course defined in claim 1 , further comprising a hazard disposed along said fairway, said hazard being mounted to a movable carrier.
6 . The golf course defined in claim 1 , further comprising means operatively connected to said framework for shifting said framework and said shell over said fairway from one position along said fairway to another position along said fairway.
7 . A golf tee assembly comprising:
a framework; a shell mounted to said framework; and means attached at least indirectly to said framework for moving said framework and said shell over a ground surface.
8 . The tee assembly defined in claim 7 , wherein said means for moving includes wheels.
9 . The tee assembly defined in claim 7 , wherein said means for moving includes a cable.
10 . The tee assembly defined in claim 7 , wherein said shell is provided with artificial turf.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
