Claims

Abstract

A modular household fabric product includes a fabric bag, a sheet of fabric outer cover overlying an outer side surface of the bag, and a fastener device for connecting the outer cover removably to the bag. The fastener device includes a male member fastened to a peripheral portion of one of the bag and the outer cover, and a female member fastened to a peripheral portion of the other of the bag and the outer cover and connected removably to the male member. Preferably, the male member is a hook fastener, while the female member is a loop fastener.

I claim:  
     
         1 . A modular household fabric product comprising: 
 a fabric large bag having an outer side surface and an inner side surface, which are opposite to each other;    a sheet of fabric outer cover overlying said outer side surface of said large bag; and    a first fastener device including 
 a male member fastened to a peripheral portion of one of said large bag and said outer cover, and  
 a female member fastened to a peripheral portion of the other of said large bag and said outer cover and connected removably to said male member of said first fastener device.  
   
     
     
         2 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 1 , further comprising: 
 an inner cover overlying said inner side surface of said large bag; and    a second fastener device including 
 a male member fastened to a peripheral portion of one of said large bag and said inner cover, and  
 a female member fastened to a peripheral portion of the other of said large bag and said inner cover and connected removably to said male member of said second fastener device.  
   
     
     
         3 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein said large bag includes an inner wall and an outer wall, each of which has a central sheet with an outwardly folded outer peripheral portion, and an annular surrounding sheet with an inner periphery sewn on said folded outer peripheral portion of said central sheet, said outer peripheries of said surrounding sheets of said inner and outer walls being sewn together, said male member of said first fastener device being fastened to said surrounding sheet of said outer wall, said female member of said first fastener device being fastened to said outer cover, said male member of said second fastener device being fastened to said inner cover, said female member of said second fastener device being fastened to said surrounding sheet of said inner wall, said inner and outer covers being capable of being removed forcibly from said inner and outer walls of said large bag so that said surrounding sheets can be inserted into a space between said central sheets, thereby permitting detachable interconnection between said male member of said first fastener device and said female member of said second fastener device, whereby, said surrounding sheets of said inner and outer walls can be confined between said central sheets of said inner and outer walls.  
     
     
         4 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 3 , wherein one of said central sheets is formed with a sheet of lace member and a first hook-and-loop fastener unit, said first hook-and-loop fastener unit being fastened to said one of said central sheets, said lace member covering said first hook-and-loop fastener unit and having a side that is sewn on said one of said central sheets, said large bag further including a fabric decorative cover with a second hook-and-loop fastener unit that engages said first hook-and-loop fastener unit so as to attach said decorative cover to said one of said central sheets, one of said first and second hook-and-loop fastener units being constructed as a hook fastener, the other one of said first and second hook-and-loop fastener units being constructed as a loop fastener.  
     
     
         5 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 3 , further comprising an annular decorative sheet, which is sewn on said outer peripheries of said surrounding sheets of said inner and outer walls and which has two non-sewn side edges that cover outer peripheries of said inner and outer covers.  
     
     
         6 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein said male members of said first and second fastener devices are constructed as hook fasteners, while said female members of said first and second fastener devices are constructed as loop fasteners.  
     
     
         7 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein said inner cover is disposed around a side of said large bag, and includes a side portion, which extends over said outer side surface of said large bag, said fabric product further including a third fastener device, which has a male member that is fastened to one of said outer cover and said side portion of said inner cover, and a female member that is fastened to the other of said outer cover and said side portion of said inner cover and that is connected removably to said female member of said third fastener device.  
     
     
         8 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein said male member of said third fastener device is constructed as a plurality of buttons, while said female member of said third fastener device is constructed as a plurality of retaining rings.  
     
     
         9 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said outer cover includes an annular side sheet, and a patterned sheet which has an outer periphery that abuts against an inner periphery of said side sheet of said outer cover, said fabric product further including a fourth fastener device, which has a male member that is fastened to one of said inner periphery of said side sheet and said outer periphery of said patterned sheet, and a female member that is fastened to the other of said inner periphery of said side sheet and said outer periphery of said patterned sheet and that is connected removably to said male member of said fourth fastener device.  
     
     
         10 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 9 , wherein said male member of said fourth fastener device is constructed as a hook fastener, while said female member of said fourth fastener device is constructed as a loop fastener.  
     
     
         11 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 1 , further comprising: 
 an inner cover overlying said inner side surface of said large bag; and    a second fastener device including 
 a male member fastened to a peripheral portion of one of said large bag and said inner cover, and  
 a female member fastened to a peripheral portion of the other of said large bag and said inner cover and connected removably to said male member of said second fastener device;  
   wherein each of said large bag and said inner and outer covers is rectangular, and includes four triangular small bags, each of which is movable between an extended position, where said small bags constitute four corners of said large bag, and a retracted position, where said small bags are concealed within said large bag, said fabric product further including four fifth fastener devices, each of which includes a male member that is fastened to a respective one of said small bags, and two female members that are fastened respectively to said inner and outer covers and that are connected removably to said male member of a respective one of said fifth fastener devices when the respective one of said small bags is disposed at the extended position.    
     
     
         12 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 11 , wherein said male members of said fifth fastener devices are constructed as buttons, while said female members of said fifth fastener devices are constructed as retaining rings.  
     
     
         13 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said large bag is adapted to accommodate a mattress body therein, said fabric product further including a dust ruffle, which is disposed around said large bag and which extends downwardly from an outer periphery of said large bag, and a second fastener device, which includes a male member that is fastened to one of said dust ruffle and said inner side surface of said large bag, and a female member that is fastened to the other of said dust ruffle and said inner side surface of said large bag.  
     
     
         14 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 1 , further comprising: 
 an inner cover overlying said inner side surface of said large bag; and    a second fastener device including 
 a male member fastened to a peripheral portion of one of said large bag and said inner cover, and  
 a female member fastened to a peripheral portion of the other of said large bag and said inner cover and connected removably to said male member of said second fastener device;  
   wherein said outer cover has two opposite sides, which are provided respectively with a pair of zipper halves which are interconnected by folding said outer cover so that said outer cover is formed as a sleeping bag, within which said large bag and said inner cover are disposed.    
     
     
         15 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 14 , wherein said outer cover is provided with a storage bag, which is fastened thereto and which includes an opening, and an auxiliary zipper unit for closing said opening, said storage bag being sized so that said outer cover can be folded and stored therein when said sleeping bag is not in use.  
     
     
         16 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said large bag is filled with a cushioning material and is adapted to be attached removably to a back of a sofa unit, thereby acting as a back cushion.  
     
     
         17 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 16 , wherein said cushioning material is chemical fiber.  
     
     
         18 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 16 , wherein said cushioning material is feather.  
     
     
         19 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 16 , wherein said cushioning material is down.  
     
     
         20 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 1 , further comprising: 
 an inner cover overlying said inner side surface of said large bag; and    a second fastener device including 
 a male member fastened to a peripheral portion of one of said large bag and said inner cover, and  
 a female member fastened to a peripheral portion of the other of said large bag and said inner cover and connected removably to said male member of said second fastener device;  
   wherein said large bag is filled with a cushioning material, and is adapted to be put on a seat portion of a sofa unit, said outer cover being disposed over said large bag, said inner cover being disposed under said large bag, whereby, said product serves as a seat cushion of the sofa unit.    
     
     
         21 . The modular household fabric product as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said large bag is shaped as a vertical plate that is adapted to abut against and that is adapted to be disposed in front of a headboard of a bed, said outer cover being disposed in front of said large bag, whereby, said product serves as a headboard cushion of the bed.
