Driving apparatus of a multi-head type embroidery machine
Abstract
A driving apparatus of a multi-head type embroidery machine prevents the twist of an upper shaft by transmitting the rotation force of a driving motor to a central portion of the upper shaft which drives heads. The driving apparatus includes a driving pulley coupled to a driving shaft of the driving motor, a driven pulley installed on the central portion of the upper shaft, and a power transmitting member for the driving pulley to the driven pulley and transmitting the rotation force of the driving motor to the upper shaft. The driving motor is received in a bracket which is fixed to a mounting recess formed on the beam. Between the bracket and the mounting recess, a vibration proofing member is inserted so that the noise and vibration are prevented. Nearby the driven pulley, an oscillation prevention unit for preventing oscillation of the upper shaft is installed. Due to the oscillation preventing unit, the upper shaft may be not oscillated in upward and downward direction and right-hand and left-had direction so that is uniformly rotated.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . In a multi-head type embroidery machine comprising a driving motor for generating rotating force and having a driving shaft, a working table, a beam installed on the working table, a plurality of head, installed by regular interval on the beam, having a plurality of needles and a plurality of thread take-up cams, an upper shaft driven by the rotating force for rotating the thread take-up cams, and a driving apparatus for transmitting the rotating force of the driving motor to the upper shaft, characterized in that the driving apparatus is installed on a central portion of the beam and a central portion of the upper shaft and transmits the rotating force of the driving motor to the central portion of the upper shaft.
2 . The driving apparatus as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the driving motor is installed on the central portion of the beam,
the driving apparatus comprising: a driving pulley coupled to the driving shaft; a driven pulley installed on the central portion of the upper shaft; and a power transmitting member for connecting the driving pulley to the driven pulley and transmitting the rotating force of the driving motor to the driven pulley.
3 . The driving apparatus as claimed in claim 2 , wherein a motor mounting recess is formed on the central portion of the beam, a plurality of supporting plates are installed on the motor mounting recess, further comprising:
a bracket fixed on the plurality of supporting plates from receiving the driving motor.
4 . The driving apparatus as claimed in claim 3 , further comprising:
a vibration proofing member inserted between the bracket and the motor mounting recess for preventing noise and vibration of the driving motor.
5 . The driving apparatus as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the vibration proofing member comprises a rubber.
6 . The driving apparatus as claimed in claim 4 , further comprising:
a cover installed above the driving motor for preventing the noise of the driving motor.
7 . The driving apparatus as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the bracket includes a plurality of ribs formed at outer peripheral of the bracket for fixing the bracket to the supporting plates, and a vibration proofing member for preventing noise and vibration of the driving motor is inserted between the plurality of supporting ribs of the bracket and the supporting plates.
8 . The driving apparatus as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the vibration proofing member comprises a rubber.
9 . The driving apparatus as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the power transmitting member comprises a timing belt.
10 . The driving apparatus as claimed in claim 2 , further comprising: an oscillation preventing means, installed nearby the driven pulley on the upper shaft, for preventing oscillation of the upper shaft.
11 . The driving apparatus as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the oscillation preventing means comprises:
an upper shaft bracket installed on the beam; and a bearing installed on the upper shaft bracket for rotatably support the upper shaft.
12 . The driving apparatus as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the oscillation prevention means further comprises:
an upper shaft holder for preventing the oscillation of the upper shaft.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
