Abstract

In order to improve operationality to produce functions, to prevent an assembling or disassembling procedure from being complicated and to simplify a structure of a chair of multi-function, a chair having a plurality of operating portions to adjust a height of a back or a seat or to adjust a rocking motion mechanically is so arranged that each of more than two operating portions as some or all of the operating portions is made to rotate around a predetermined shaft respectively, each shaft of the operating portions is arranged in a line, and more than two operating portions as some or all of the operating portions are arranged in a line and the chair comprises an operation receiving portion as a mechanism to work each mechanism directly and a link means that connects the operating portion and the operation receiving portion, some or all of the adjusting portions that are arranged in the link means in order to adjust a motion range of the operation receiving portion that works with operation of the operating portion are gathered in a predetermined area.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
. A chair having a plurality of operating portions to adjust a height of a back or a seat or to adjust a rocking motion mechanically, and characterized by that each of more than two operating portions as some or all of the operating portions is made to rotate around a predetermined shaft respectively and each shaft of the operating portions is arranged in a line as well.

. The chair described in claim 1 , wherein the above-described more than two operating portions are arranged below a side edge of the seat in a condition that each shaft extends back and forth.

. The chair described in claim 1 or 2 , wherein concavity and convexity is provided at a portion that can be touched on occasions when the operating portion is operated toward a predetermined direction on a surface of the above-described more than two operating portions.

. The chair described in claim 1 , 2 or 3 , wherein the above-described more than two operating portions are of the same or generally the same shape.

. The chair described in claim 1 , 2 , 3 or 4 , wherein each of the above-described more than two operating portions are plate-shaped and can be kept to take a horizontal posture.

. A chair having a plurality of operating portions to adjust a height of a back or a seat or to adjust a rocking motion mechanically, and characterized by that more than two operating portions as some or all of the operating portions are gathered in a line in a predetermined area.

. A chair having a plurality of operating portions to adjust a height of a back or a seat or to adjust a rocking motion, and characterized by that more than two operating portions as some or all of the operating portions are arranged back and forth in a line below a side edge of the seat.

. The chair described in claim 6 or 7 , wherein an order of arranging the above-mentioned more than two operating portions is determined based on an order of arranging members that produce a function to be an object of each operating portions.

. The chair described in claim 6 , 7 or 8 , wherein the above-described more than two operating portions are of the same or generally the same shape.

. The chair described in claim 6 , 7 , 8 or 9 , wherein concavity and convexity is provided at a position that can be touched on occasions when the operating portion is operated toward a predetermined direction on a surface of the above-described more than two adjusting portions.

. The chair described in claim 6 , 7 , 8 , 9 or 10 , wherein each of the above-described more than two operating portions can be kept to take a horizontal posture and are in the same height when kept to take the horizontal posture.

. A chair having a plurality of working mechanisms such as an up and down mechanism to adjust a height of a seat and a back, a rocking mechanism or the like, and characterized by comprising an operating portion to be operated to work each mechanism, an operation receiving portion as a mechanism to work each mechanism directly and a link means that connects the operating portion with the operation receiving portion and further comprising adjusting portions that are arranged in the link means in order to adjust a motion range of the operation receiving portion that works with operation of the operating portion wherein more than two adjusting portions as some or all of the adjusting portions are gathered in a predetermined area.

. The chair described in claim 12 , and characterized by that the adjusting portions are arranged near the relevant operating portions.

. The chair described in claim 12 or 13 , and characterized by that the operating portions are gathered in a predetermined area.

. The chair described in claim 12 , and characterized by further comprising a cover that covers the adjusting portions arranged together.

. The chair described in claim 15 , and characterized by that the cover also covers a boundary portion between the operating portion and the adjusting portion.

. The chair described in claim 12 , 13 , 14 , 15 or 16 , and characterized by that the adjusting portion is arranged under the seat.
