Method of manufacturing wire fencing material having stays

Abstract

A method of manufacturing a wire fence, comprising attaching a plurality of vertical stays to a plurality of horizontal wires, wherein the distance between the attached vertical stays is not constant.

What is claimed as new and useful and desired to be secured by Letters Patent is:  
     
         1 . A method of manufacturing a wire fence, comprising attaching a plurality of vertical stays to a plurality of horizontal wires, wherein the distance between the attached vertical stays is not constant.  
     
     
         2 . A method according to  claim 1 , comprising 
 a) attaching a plurality of vertical stays to the horizontal wires, wherein the distance between the vertical stays in step a) corresponds to x;    b) skipping the attachment of from 1 to 5 vertical stays to the horizontal wires;    c) attaching up to 2 vertical stays to the horizontal wires, wherein the distance between said two vertical stays in step c) corresponds to x;    d) skipping the attachment of vertical stays to the horizontal wires for a distance corresponding to from 2x to 5x;    e) resuming the attachment of vertical stays to the horizontal wires, wherein the distance between the vertical stays in step e) corresponds to x.    
     
     
         3 . A method according to  claim 1 , wherein the distance x is selected from the group consisting of 3, 6, 9, 12 and 15 inches.  
     
     
         4 . A method according to  claim 1  wherein the fence material is cut along a vertical line proximate to the first of said two vertical stays which are attached to said horizontal wires at a distance x from each other.  
     
     
         5 . A wire fence produced according to the method of claim  1 .
