Abstract

A bathtub protection device including a plurality of leather panels positionable over the bottom wall, peripheral side wall, and upper peripheral wall of the bathtub. The plurality of leather panels being adapted to be secured together to form a single protective panel.

What is claimed as being new and desired to be protected by Letters Patent of the united states is as follows:  
     
         1 . A bathtub protection device for protecting a finish of a bathtub from becoming damaged during renovations, wherein the bathtub includes an open upper end, a bottom wall, and peripheral side wall, the open upper end defines an upper peripheral wall, the device comprising, in combination: 
 a plurality of leather panels positionable over the bottom wall, peripheral side wall, and upper peripheral wall of the bathtub, the plurality of leather panels having a series of central hook and loop strips disposed thereon to allow the leather panels to be secured together to form a single protective panel, the plurality of leather panels having a plurality of peripheral hook and loop strips thereon corresponding with a plurality of hook and loop strips that can be positioned on the upper peripheral wall of the bathtub; and    a padded floor positionable on the bottom wall of the bathtub disposed below the plurality of leather panels positioned therein.    
     
     
         2 . A bathtub protection device for protecting a finish of a bathtub from becoming damaged during renovations, wherein the bathtub includes an open upper end, a bottom wall, and peripheral side wall, the open upper end defines an upper peripheral wall, the device comprising, in combination: 
 a plurality of leather panels positionable over the bottom wall, peripheral side wall, and upper peripheral wall of the bathtub, the plurality of leather panels being adapted to be secured together to form a single protective panel.    
     
     
         3 . The bathtub protection device as set forth in  claim 2 , wherein the plurality of leather panels have a series of central hook and loop strips disposed thereon to allow the leather panels to be secured together to form the single protective panel.  
     
     
         4 . The bathtub protection device as set forth in  claim 2 , wherein the plurality of leather panels have a plurality of peripheral hook and loop strips thereon corresponding with a plurality of hook and loop strips that can be positioned on the upper peripheral wall of the bathtub.  
     
     
         5 . The bathtub protection device as set forth in  claim 2 , and further including a padded floor positionable on the bottom wall of the bathtub disposed below the plurality of leather panels positioned therein.
