Disposable diaper

Abstract

A shorts-type disposable diaper including a liquid permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, and an absorber interposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, front and rear waist portions being connected together at opposite sides thereof, respectively, the improvement including a tape fastener adapted to fasten the diaper when the diaper is to be discarded, the tape fastener being disposed at a central outer surface section of the backsheet and extending in a longitudinal direction of the backsheet.

What is claimed:  
     
         1 . A pull-on disposable shorts diaper having a waist opening, opposing lateral side portions and a pair of leg openings, said pull-on disposable shorts diaper comprising: 
 a liquid permeable topsheet;    a liquid impermeable backsheet;    an absorber interposed between said topsheet and said backsheet; and    a strip-shaped tape fastener positioned at a central section, substantially laterally between said opposing lateral side portions, on an outer surface of said backsheet;    said tape fastener comprising a fixing portion which is to be fixed to said backsheet, and an adhering portion which is used for fastening said diaper in a roll structure upon disposal, said fixing portion and said adhering portion respectively comprising mounts and adhesive layers which are formed by applying an adhesive agent on one surface of said mounts, a surface of said mount of said fixing portion which is brought into contact with said adhesive layer of said adhering portion being subjected to peeling treatment,    one end of said fixing portion and one end of said adhering portion being brought into contact with each other via said adhesive agent, and being fixed each other,    said adhering layer of said adhering portion being adhered onto said backsheet of said diaper in a roll structure upon disposal.    
     
     
         2 . The pull-on disposable shorts diaper according to  claim 1 , wherein said adhesive layer of said adhering portion has a fixing part which is positioned near said one end of said fixing portion, and said fixing part is fixed onto said backsheet.  
     
     
         3 . The pull-on disposable shorts diaper according to  claim 1 , wherein said one end of said fixing portion is folded back toward said mount, and the folded one end of said fixing portion and said one end of said adhering portion are brought into contact with and fixed to each other.  
     
     
         4 . The pull-on disposable shorts diaper according to  claim 1 , wherein said backsheet comprises a composite material composed of a film and a nonwoven fabric, and an outer surface of said backsheet comprises said nonwoven fabric.  
     
     
         5 . The pull-on disposable shorts diaper according to  claim 1 , wherein said adhesive agent comprises a styrene block polymer.
