Abstract
A tree-top mounting device includes a housing, an elongated support slidably received within the housing, and a fitting head disposed at a distal end of the elongated support. A fastener secures the housing to a tree, and the fitting head can receive and support an ornament.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . A tree-top mounting device, comprising:
a housing; an elongated support slidably received within said housing; a fitting head disposed at a distal end of said elongated support; and a fastener adapted to secure said housing to a tree.
2 . A device according to claim 1 , further comprising a lock to secure said sliding rod in said housing at a desired position.
3 . A device according to claim 1 , wherein said fitting head includes a bayonet coupling for attachment to an ornament.
4 . A device according to claim 1 , wherein said fitting head comprises a disc and a cylindrical connector, with said disc and said cylindrical connector adaptable to receive an ornament.
5 . A device according to claim 1 , wherein said fastener includes a hook and loop fastener secured to said housing.
6 . A tree-top mounting device, comprising:
a mount including a housing and a sliding rod slidable within said housing, said sliding rod having a distal end adapted to receive an ornament; and a fastener adapted to attach said housing to a tree.
7 . A tree-top mount device according to claim 6 , further comprising a fitting head disposed at the distal end of said sliding rod.
8 . A tree-top mount device according to claim 6 , further comprising a locking mechanism for locking said sliding rod in said housing.
9 . A tree-top mounting device comprising:
telescoping means comprising a first member slidably received in a second member; and means for connecting said first member to an object.
10 . A mounting device according to claim 9 , wherein said means for connecting is a bayonet coupling.
11 . A mounting device according to claim 9 , further comprising means for locking said first member and said second member together.
12 . A mounting device according to claim 9 , further comprising means for fastening said second member to a tree.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
