         1 . An article of furniture to extend to area of the writing portion of a tablet armchair, comprising: 
 (a) a flat sheet of rigid material suitable for hand writing;    (b) a fastener to attach the flat sheet to the tablet armchair;    (c) a method of folding the sheet into an easily transported shape.
