Fletching clearence tool
Abstract
This invention simply moves your arrow forward on your rest to check the clearance between your fletching and the bow riser. This device is comprised of two tubes one being able to slide inside the other. One end has an arrow nock or clip attached, so it could be attached to the bowstring. The other side is fitted with an internally tapered cup to allow your arrow nock to slide into it. This cup may also have a pin or divider inside to allow your arrow to clip onto it. This invention can slide open to accommodate most brace heights. This invention aids in the bow and arrow tuning process. The sliding tubes may have a rail and raised guide channel attached to prevent turning. The smaller diameter tube may have a raised rail its entire length. The larger diameter tube may have a raised guide channel its entire length to allow the small tube to slide open without turning.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A bow-tuning device comprised of two tubes one being able to slide inside the other. One end has an arrow nock attached so it can be attached to the bowstring. The other side is fitted with an internally tapered cup to accommodate your arrow nock. This cup may also have a pin or divider inside to allow your arrow to clip onto it.
