Skill and chance game for fun or competition

Abstract

A game apparatus enabling the use of dexterity and skill while providing chance opportunities consisting of a set of equidistant receivers with established values formatted in rows of a triangular pattern, a ball or balls to enable play, and a launching stunt device for delivering the sphere located a set distance from the formatted receivers. The launcher or projecting device enables the aiming and delivery of the ball to the receivers by the maneuvering of the arm of the device yet maintaining the bowl of the launcher within the area of the designated spot, providing a single player challenge and excitement or several players in competition the added arising of attitude and challenges afforded from chance, use of skills and winning by score.

What I claim as my invention is:  
     
         1 . A game apparatus and method of play comprising: a flat and level surface or area for the playing of the game; a plurality of rows of receivers or receiving contrivances positioned relatively equally distant from each other, said receivers positioned to form a triangular format, said receivers to each have a rating or point value and be of size and shape to freely accept a sphere; a sphere or predetermined quantity of spheres each having a diameter sized for freely resting in or on the receivers; a launcher seat or spot of size and shape to freely hold or provide a seating position for resting the bowl of a projecting device located in a line of proximity to the center of said triangle format and a predetermined distance away from said triangle format; a launcher, a projecting and stunt device for discharging said sphere toward said receivers comprising an oval shaped bowl and a stem or extended arm, said oval shaped bowl sized to accept said sphere freely but not to be with a frontal tip or lip to enable the free discharge of the sphere, said bowl of oval shape relative to contain and enable directional guidance of said sphere from said bowl not restraining or restricting the discharging of said sphere from said bowl toward said receivers, said stem or extended arm attached to said bowl is sized and of shape relative for the handling of said stem to maneuver said bowl and cause the discharge of said sphere from said bowl to said receivers while said bowl is about said launcher bowl spot. The method of play is for the player to place the bowl of the launcher on the spot or place then place a sphere in the bowl of the launcher. The player aims the sphere at the receivers by manipulating the arm of the launcher, then delivers the sphere by maneuvering the arm or handle of the launcher as to cause the discharging of the sphere to move forward toward the receivers while maintaining the bowl of the launcher bowl about the spot. A winning score for play may be any amount but a predetermined amount established prior to starting the play of the game.  2 . A means for the electronic media, an independent claim of  claim 1  comprising: a software means capable of simulating the physical means when run via a computer or electronic device capable of accepting player input and displaying output.
