Claims

Abstract

A fishing chair including a folding chair portion comprising a seat portion and a seat back portion foldably coupled together. The seat portion has front and rear inverted U-shaped legs foldably coupled thereto. The rear leg has a central aperture therethrough. A fishing rod support is secured to the folding chair. An umbrella support is secured to the folding chair. An anchor stake is dimensioned for extending through the central aperture in the rear leg of the folding chair portion.

What is claimed as being new and desired to be protected by Letters Patent of the United States is as follows:  
     
         1 . A fishing chair for allowing a fisherman to sit comfortably while fishing from a beach area comprising, in combination: 
 a folding chair portion consisting of a seat portion and a seat back portion foldably coupled together, the seat portion having front and rear inverted U-shaped legs foldably coupled thereto, the rear leg having a central aperture therethrough, the seat back portion having a pair of arm rests extending forwardly therefrom;    a fishing rod support secured to the folding chair, the fishing rod support consisting of a cylindrical tube secured to the front leg of the folding chair portion in an angular orientation, the cylindrical tube having an open upper end for receiving a fishing rod therein;    an umbrella support secured to the folding chair, the umbrella support consisting of an upper cylindrical collar and a lower cylindrical collar, the upper and lower cylindrical collars each having open upper and lower ends, the upper cylindrical collar secured to the seat back portion, the lower cylindrical collar secured to the rear leg; and    an anchor stake dimensioned for extending through the central aperture in the rear leg of the folding chair portion.    
     
     
         2 . A fishing chair for allowing a fisherman to sit comfortably while fishing from a beach area comprising, in combination: 
 a folding chair portion consisting of a seat portion and a seat back portion foldably coupled together, the seat portion having front and rear inverted U-shaped legs foldably coupled thereto, the rear leg having a central aperture therethrough;    a fishing rod support secured to the folding chair;    an umbrella support secured to the folding chair; and    an anchor stake dimensioned for extending through the central aperture in the rear leg of the folding chair portion.    
     
     
         3 . The fishing chair as set forth in claim two, wherein the seat back portion has a pair of arm rests extending forwardly therefrom.  
     
     
         4 . The fishing chair as set forth in claim two, wherein the fishing rod support consists of a cylindrical tube secured to the front leg of the folding chair portion in an angular orientation, the cylindrical tube having an open upper end for receiving a fishing rod therein.  
     
     
         5 . The fishing chair as set forth in claim two, wherein the umbrella support consists of an upper cylindrical collar and a lower cylindrical collar, the upper and lower cylindrical collars each having open upper and lower ends, the upper cylindrical collar secured to the seat back portion, the lower cylindrical collar secured to the rear leg.
