Abstract
Coiling line located downstream of a rolling train provided with shears suitable to shear the rolled stock emerging from the rolling train, comprising a first coiling machine suitable to coil the rolled stock to achieve a corresponding first coil, downstream of the shears there being included at least a second coiling machine suitable to coil the rolled stock to achieve a corresponding second coil, selection means being provided to take the rolled stock to wind alternatively either onto the first or onto the at least second coiling machine.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - A coiling line located downstream of a rolling train provided with shears suitable to shear the rolled stock coming from the rolling train, comprising a first coiling machine for winding the rolled stock to realise a corresponding first coil, at least a second coiling machine for winding the rolled stock to realise a corresponding second coil, selection means to deviate the rolled stock alternatively towards said first or said at least second coiling machine, wherein drive means are provided to selectively rotating the one of said coiling machine on which the rolled stock is being wound and at the same time to hold stationary at least the other coiling machine which has already completed the coil of rolled stock, and wherein a coil-handling assembly is provided to remove the already-completed coil from the stationary coiling machine.
2 - A coiling line as in claim 1 , wherein said selection means are able to deviate the rolled stock to coil selectively onto a third and a fourth coiling machine, each of which is able to wind the rolled stock to realise a corresponding third and fourth coil.
3 - A coiling line as in claim 1 or 2 , wherein said coiling machines are disposed in fixed positions with respect to said shears and wherein said selection means comprise a switching device arranged downstream of said shears to selectively deviate the rolled stock either to said first coiling machine or to said at least second coiling machine.
4 - A coiling line as in claim 3 , wherein a loop-forming assembly for said rolled stock is disposed between said switching device and each of said coiling machines.
5 - A coiling line as in claim 3 , wherein a spiral distributor is disposed in front of each of said coiling machines.
6 - A coiling line as in claim 1 or 2 , wherein one of said coil-handling assembly is disposed downstream of each of said coiling machines for removing each of said coils from the corresponding coiling machine to transfer it to transport means disposed downstream thereof.
7 - A coiling line as in claim 1 or 2 , wherein a coil-transport assembly is disposed downstream of each of the coiling machines.
8 - A coiling line as in claim 4 , wherein a tying and strapping station for the coils is disposed downstream of each of said coiling machines.
9 - A coiling line as in claim 1 or 2 , wherein lifting means are disposed downstream of each of the coiling machines to lift and weigh said coils.
10 - A coiling line as in claim 6 , wherein a tying and strapping station for said coils is provided downstream of said coil-handling assembly, and wherein lifting means are provided downstream of said tying and strapping station to lift and weigh said coils.
11 - A coiling line as in claim 1 or 2 , wherein said selection means comprise a rotary support on which said coiling machines are mounted, and wherein rotation means are provided to rotate said rotary support and selectively take one of said coiling machines in correspondence with a spiral distributor device and at the same time another of said coiling machines in correspondence with a coil-handling assembly for removing the coil of rolled stock from the corresponding coiling machine.
12 - A coiling line as in claim 11 , wherein said first and second coiling machine are mounted on diametrically opposite sides of a rotary support.
13 - A coiling line as in claim 11 , wherein synchronisation means are provided to synchronise the rotation of said rotary support with the coiling step of the rolled stock on the corresponding coiling machine.
14 - A coiling line as in claim 1 , wherein each of said coiling machines is mounted on a rotary element able to be selectively displaced between a first working position, wherein the corresponding mandrel is disposed in correspondence with a spiral distributor device and a second working position, and wherein said mandrel is disposed in correspondence with a coil-handling assembly suitable to remove the coil of rolled stock from said mandrel.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
