Abstract

A portable hair drying system including a rechargeable blower having a generally cylindrical configuration. The blower has an enlarged base portion and a muzzle portion. The muzzle portion allows air to be blown outwardly therethrough. The base portion has a belt clip secured thereto. A handle portion is adapted for removably coupling with the rechargeable blower. A flexible tube is adapted for removably coupling with the rechargeable blower. A drying cap is dimensioned for being positioned over an individual's head. The drying cap includes an interior layer and an exterior layer separated by a central air chamber. The interior layer is positioned on the individual's head. The interior layer has a plurality of aperture's therethrough in a spaced relationship. The exterior layer has an open collar in communication with the central air chamber. The open collar is adapted for removably coupling with the flexible tube.

Claims

What is claimed as being new and desired to be protected by Letters Patent of the united states is as follows:

1 . A portable hair drying system for allowing hair to be dried and styled at a variety of locations comprising, in combination:
a rechargeable blower having a generally cylindrical configuration, the blower having an enlarged base portion and a muzzle portion, the muzzle portion allowing air to be blown outwardly therethrough, the base portion having a belt clip secured thereto, the blower having a power switch and a setting switch, the blower having a rechargeable battery disposed therein with a corresponding battery charger, the muzzle portion having a securement track secured thereto; a handle portion adapted for removably coupling with the rechargeable blower, the handle portion having a generally rectangular configuration defined by a narrow upper end, a narrow lower end, and opposed wide sides, one of the sides having knurls formed therein, the narrow upper end having a cylindrical bar secured thereto, the cylindrical bar being slidably coupled with the securement track of the muzzle portion of the blower whereby the handle portion is essentially laterally disposed with respect to the blower; a brush attachment adapted for removably coupling with the muzzle portion of the rechargeable blower; a comb attachment adapted for removably coupling with the muzzle portion of the rechargeable blower; a flexible tube adapted for removably coupling with the rechargeable blower, the flexible tube having an open lower end and an open upper end, the open lower end adapted for removably coupling with the muzzle portion of the blower, the open upper end having a locking tab member extending laterally therefrom; a drying cap dimensioned for being positioned over an individual's head, the drying cap including an interior layer and an exterior layer separated by a central air chamber, the interior layer being positioned on the individual's head, the interior layer having a plurality of aperture's therethrough in a spaced relationship, the exterior layer having an open collar in communication with the central air chamber, the open collar being adapted for removably coupling with the open upper end of the flexible tube, the exterior layer having a protrusion extending outwardly therefrom adjacent to the open collar for removably coupling with the locking tab member of the flexible tube; and a carrying case adapted for receiving the rechargeable blower, the handle portion, the brush attachment, the comb attachment, the flexible tube and the drying cap therein.

2 . A portable hair drying system for allowing hair to be dried and styled at a variety of locations comprising, in combination:
a rechargeable blower having a generally cylindrical configuration, the blower having an enlarged base portion and a muzzle portion, the muzzle portion allowing air to be blown outwardly therethrough, the base portion having a belt clip secured thereto; a handle portion adapted for removably coupling with the rechargeable blower; a flexible tube adapted for removably coupling with the rechargeable blower; and a drying cap dimensioned for being positioned over an individual's head, the drying cap including an interior layer and an exterior layer separated by a central air chamber, the interior layer being positioned on the individual's head, the interior layer having a plurality of aperture's therethrough in a spaced relationship, the exterior layer having an open collar in communication with the central air chamber, the open collar being adapted for removably coupling with the flexible tube.

3 . The portable hair drying system as set forth in claim two, wherein the rechargeable blower has a power switch and a setting switch.

4 . The portable hair drying system as set forth in claim two, wherein the blower has a rechargeable battery disposed therein with a corresponding battery charger>

5 . The portable hair drying system as set forth in claim two, wherein the handle portion has a generally rectangular configuration defined by a narrow upper end, a narrow lower end, and opposed wide sides, one of the sides having knurls formed therein.

6 . The portable hair drying system as set forth in claim five, wherein the narrow upper end has a cylindrical bar secured thereto, the cylindrical bar being slidably coupled with a securement track of the muzzle portion of the blower whereby the handle portion is essentially laterally disposed with respect to the blower.

7 . The portable hair drying system as set forth in claim two, and further including a brush attachment adapted for removably coupling with the muzzle portion of the rechargeable blower.

8 . The portable hair drying system as set forth in claim two, and further including a comb attachment adapted for removably coupling with the muzzle portion of the rechargeable blower.

9 . The portable hair drying system as set forth in claim two, wherein the flexible tube has an open lower end and an open upper end, the open lower end adapted for removably coupling with the muzzle portion of the blower, the open upper end having a locking tab member extending laterally therefrom and the exterior layer of the drying cap having an open collar in communication with the central air chamber thereof, the open collar being adapted for removably coupling with the open upper end of the flexible tube, the exterior layer having a protrusion extending outwardly therefrom adjacent to the open collar for removably coupling with the locking tab member of the flexible tube.

10 . The portable hair drying system as set forth in claim two, and further including a carrying case adapted for receiving relevant items therein.
