Throwing game

Abstract

A throwing game including a target comprised of a horizontal base portion and a vertical mark portion. The vertical mark portion includes a pair of vertical posts extending upwardly from the horizontal base portion. The pair of vertical posts have a plurality of crossbars extending therebetween. A plurality of projectiles are adapted for being thrown at the crossbar of the vertical mark portion of the target.

What is claimed as being new and desired to be protected by Letters Patent of the United States is as follows:  
     
         1 . A throwing game comprising, in combination: 
 a target comprised of a horizontal base portion and a vertical mark portion, the horizontal portion having a generally U-shaped configuration, the horizontal portion including a pair of elongated members disposed in a spaced and parallel relationship, the elongated members having a stabilizer bar extending between opposed free ends thereof, the vertical mark portion including a pair of vertical posts extending upwardly from the pair of elongated members, the pair of vertical posts having free upper ends, the free upper ends having a top crossbar extending therebetween, the pair of vertical posts having a middle crossbar extending therebetween downwardly of the top crossbar, the pair of vertical posts having a bottom crossbar extending therebetween downwardly of the middle crossbar; and    a plurality of projectiles adapted for being thrown at the crossbar of the vertical mark portion of the target, the projectiles each being comprised of a pair of ball having a tether secured therebetween.    
     
     
         2 . A throwing game comprising, in combination: 
 a target comprised of a horizontal base portion and a vertical mark portion, the vertical mark portion including a pair of vertical posts extending upwardly from the horizontal base portion, the pair of vertical posts having a plurality of crossbar extending therebetween in a spaced relationship; and    a plurality of projectiles adapted for being thrown at the crossbar of the vertical mark portion of the target.    
     
     
         3 . The throwing game as set forth in  claim 2 , wherein the horizontal portion has a generally U-shaped configuration, the horizontal portion including a pair of elongated members disposed in a spaced and parallel relationship, the elongated members having a stabilizer bar extending between opposed free ends thereof.  
     
     
         4 . The throwing game as set forth in  claim 2 , wherein the plurality of crossbar including a top crossbar, a middle crossbar downwardly of the top crossbar, and a bottom crossbar downwardly of the middle crossbar.  
     
     
         5 . The throwing game as set forth in  claim 2 , wherein the projectiles each are comprised of a pair of balls having a tether secured therebetween.
