Food container

Abstract

A food container includes a container box, and a box cover. An annular locking flange formed on the box cover is snapped on the snapping flange formed on the container box. An L-shaped catch ring is located under the snapping flange, and a press plate is extended from the catch ring. A breakable line is connected between the press plate and the catch ring. A plurality of thin posts that are easily broken and removed are connected between the press plate and the wall of the container box. When the press plate is subjected to a pressing force, the press plate is broken to form an opening, thereby facilitating the press plate being bent upward through the opening to urge the bottom of the box cover, such that the box cover can be removed from the container box, thereby opening the food container.

What is claimed is:  
     
         1 . A food container comprising: 
 a container box ( 10 ), and a box cover ( 20 ) mounted on said container box ( 10 ), wherein,    an annular snapping flange ( 16 ) is formed on a top edge of said container box ( 10 ), an L-shaped catch ring ( 11 ) is formed on said container box ( 10 ) in an annular arranged manner, and is located under said snapping flange ( 16 ), a press plate ( 12 ) is formed on an outer periphery of said L-shaped catch ring ( 11 ), and is extended outward therefrom, a breakable line ( 14 ) that is easily broken and removed is connected between said press plate ( 12 ) and said L-shaped catch ring ( 11 ), a plurality of thin posts ( 13 ) that are easily broken and removed are connected between said press plate ( 12 ) and a wall face of said container box ( 10 );    an annular locking flange ( 21 ) is formed on a bottom face of said box cover ( 20 ), and is securely snapped on said snapping flange ( 16 ) of said container box ( 10 );    when said press plate ( 12 ) is subjected to a pressing force, said press plate ( 12 ) is broken to form an opening ( 15 ), thereby facilitating said press plate ( 12 ) being bent upward through said opening ( 15 ) to urge a bottom edge ( 23 ) of said box cover ( 20 ), such that said box cover ( 20 ) can be removed from said container box ( 10 ), thereby opening said food container.    
     
     
         2 . The food container in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein said bottom edge ( 23 ) of said box cover ( 20 ) is fully covered in said L-shaped catch ring ( 11 ) and said press plate ( 12 ).
