Abstract

In a device to aid in the application of eyelash makeup comprising a handle and a shield having an edge shaped to generally conform to the shape of the human eyelid, and providing a surface for eyelashes to lay over, the improvement comprising grooves on the surface radiating from the edge and extending to a length approximating the length of a human eyelash and spaced apart approximately the same distance as are human eyelashes, whereby the grooves promote the separation and elongation of eyelashes during the application of eyelash makeup.

In a device to aid in the application of eyelash makeup comprising a handle and a shield having an edge shaped to generally conform to the shape of the human eyelid, and providing a surface for eyelashes to lay over, the improvement comprising grooves on said surface radiating from said edge and extending to a length approximating the length of a human eyelash and spaced apart approximately the same distance as are human eyelashes, whereby said grooves promote the separation and elongation of eyelashes during the application of eyelash makeup.
