Abstract

A herbicide combination comprising of components (A) and (B) exhibit synergistic herbicidal effects, where (A) is one or more herbicides selected from the group consisting of heteroaryloxy- and aryloxy-phenoxypropionic acids, their salts and esters and cyclohexanediones, and (B) is one or more herbicides selected from the group consisting of (B1) herbicides which are selective in rice, mainly against monocotyledonous plants, (B2) herbicides which are selective in rice, mainly against dicotyledonous harmful plants and cyperaceae, (B3) herbicides which are selective in rice, mainly against cyperaceae and (B4) herbicides which are selective in rice, mainly against monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous plants and cyperaceae.

1 . A herbicide combination having an effective content of components (A) and (B), where 
 (A) is one or more herbicides selected from the group consisting of heteroaryloxy- and aryloxy-phenoxypropionic acids, their salts and esters and cyclohexanediones, and    (B) is one or more herbicides which are structurally different from the herbicides (A) contained in each case, selected from the group of the compounds consisting of    (B1) herbicides which are selective in rice, mainly against monocotyledonous plants,    (B2) herbicides which are selective in rice, mainly against dicotyledonous harmful plants and cyperaceae,    (B3) herbicides which are selective in rice, mainly against cyperaceae and    (B4) herbicides which are selective in rice, mainly against monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous harmful plants and cyperaceae.    
     
     
         2 . A herbicide combination as claimed in  claim 1  which comprises, as component (A), one or more herbicides selected from the group consisting of 
 (A1.1) fenoxaprop-P and its esters and fenoxaprop and its esters,  
 (A1.2) quizalofop-P and its esters and quizalofop and its esters,  
 (A1.3) propaquizafop,  
 (A1.4) fluazifop-P and its esters and fluazifop and its butyl ester,  
 (A1.5) haloxyfop-P and its esters and haloxyfop and its esters,  
 (A1.6) cyhalofop and its esters,  
 (A1.7) clodinafop and its esters,  
 (A2.1) sethoxydim,  
 (A2.2) cycloxydim,  
 (A2.3) clethodim and  
 (A2.4) clefoxidim.  
 
     
     
         3 . The herbicide combination as claimed in  claim 1 , which comprises, as component (A), fenoxaprop-P-ethyl.  
     
     
         4 . The herbicide combination as claimed in  claim 1 , which comprises, as component (B), one or more active compounds selected from the group consisting of (B1), (B2), (B3) and (B4) where 
 (B1) herbicides which are selective in rice, in particular against monocotyledonous harmful plants, are selected from the group consisting of    (B1.1) butachlor,    (B1.2) butenachlor,    (B1.3) thenylchlor,    (B1.4) pretilachlor,    (B1.5) mefenacet,    (B1.6) naproanilid,    (B1.7) propanil,    (B1.8) etobenzanid,    (B1.9) dimepiperate,    (B1.10) molinate,    (B1.11) thiobencarb (benthiocarb),    (B1.12) pyributicarb,    (B1.13) quinclorac,    (B1.14) sulcotrione,    (B1.15) fentrazamid (BAY NBA 061),    (B1.16) piperophos,    (B1.17) JC-940,    (B1.18) dithiopyr,    (B1.19) bromobutide,    (B1.20) cinmethylin and    (B1.21) cafenstrole (CH 900),    where in the case of the active compound (A1.2), (A1.3), (A1.4), (A1.5), (A1.6), (A2.1), (A2.2), (A2.3) or (A2.4), it is also possible to use    (B4.13) dalapon,    (B4.14) cinosulfuron,    (B4.15) pyrazosulfuron and its salts and esters,    (B4.16) imazosulfuron,    (B4.17) cyclosulfamuron,    (B4.18) azimsulfuron,    (B4.19) nicosulfuron,    (B4.20) prometryn,    (B4.21) simetryn,    (B4.22) thiazopyr,    (B4.23) pentoxazone (KPP 314),    (B4.24) indanofan,    (B4.25) pyribenzoxim (LGC 40863),    (B4.26) oxaziclomefone (MY-100),    (B4.27) fluthiamide,    (B4.28) sulfentrazone and    (B1.29) esprocarb,    where in the case of the active compound (A1.1), (A1.3), (A1.4), (A1.5), (A1.6), (A2.1), (A.2) or (A2.3), it is also possible to use    (B4.30) oxyfluorfen    as herbicidally active combination compound of the group (B4), alone or in combination with the abovementioned active compounds, and    where in the case of the active compound (A1.2), (A1.3), (A1.4), (A1.5), (A1.6), (A2.1), (A2.2) or (A2.3),    it is also possible to use    (B4.31) bensulfuron-methyl,    (B4.32) ethoxysulfuron and its salts,    (B4.33) metsulfuron and its esters and    (B4.34) chlorsulfuron    as herbicidally active combination compound of the group (B4), alone or in combination with the abovementioned active compounds.    
     
     
         5 . A herbicide-combination having an effective content of components (A), (B) and (C), where the component 
 (A) is fenoxaprop-P-ethyl or fenoxaprop-ethyl,    (B) is a herbicide selected from the group consisting of thiazopyr, clomazone, benthiocarb, butachlor, quinchlorac, pendimethalin, oxadiargyl, oxadiazon, cafenstrol, bispyribac, carflutrazon, metosulam and ethoxysulfuron, and    (C) is a safener selected from the group consisting of safeners of the type of dichlorophenylpyrazoline-3-carboxylic acids, dichlorophenylpyrazolcarboxylic acids, triazolocarboxylic acids, 5-benzyl- or 5-phenyl-2-isoxazoline-3-carboxylic acids and 8-quinolineoxyacetic acids.    
     
     
         6 . A herbicide-combination having an effective content of components (A), (B) and (C), where the component 
 (A) is fenoxaprop-P-ethyl or fenoxaprop-ethyl,    (B) is ethoxysulfuron or bensulfuron-methyl, and    (C) is molinate or quinchlorac.    
     
     
         7 . The herbicide combination as claimed in  claim 1 , which comprises one or more other components selected from the group consisting of crop protection agents of a different kind, additives and formulation auxiliaries which are customary in crop protection.  
     
     
         8 . The herbicide combination as claimed in  claim 5 , which comprises one or more other components selected from the group consisting of crop protection agents of a different kind, additives and formulation auxiliaries which are customary in crop protection.  
     
     
         9 . The herbicide combination as claimed in  claim 6 , which comprises one or more other components selected from the group consisting of crop protection agents of a different kind, additives and formulation auxiliaries which are customary in crop protection.  
     
     
         10 . A method for controlling harmful plants, which comprises applying the herbicides of the herbicide combination, defined according to  claim 1 , jointly or separately by the pre-emergence method, post-emergence method or the pre- and post-emergence method to the plants, parts of plants, plant seeds or the area under cultivation.  
     
     
         11 . A method for controlling harmful plants, which comprises applying the herbicides of the herbicide combination, defined according to  claim 5 , jointly or separately by the pre-emergence method, post-emergence method or the pre- and post-emergence method to the plants, parts of plants, plant seeds or the area under cultivation.  
     
     
         12 . A method for controlling harmful plants, which comprises applying the herbicides of the herbicide combination, defined according to  claim 6 , jointly or separately by the pre-emergence method, post-emergence method or the pre- and post-emergence method to the plants, parts of plants, plant seeds or the area under cultivation.  
     
     
         13 . The method as claimed in  claim 10  for the selective control of harmful plants in crops, preferably rice crops.  
     
     
         14 . The method as claimed in  claim 11  for the selective control of harmful plants in crops, preferably rice crops.  
     
     
         15 . The method as claimed in  claim 12  for the selective control of harmful plants in crops, preferably rice crops.
