The weight member is fastened to the outer surface of the tubular body such that the longitudinal side of the weight member is parallel to the axial direction of the tubular body. The tape body is spirally wound around the tubular body to cover up the weight member.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A golf club grip comprising:
a tubular body fitted over a golf club shaft; at least one weight member fastened to an outer surface of said tubular body; and a tape body spirally wound around said tubular body to cover said weight member.
2 . The golf club grip as defined in claim 1 , wherein said weight member is made of a metal.
3 . The golf club grip as defined in claim 1 , wherein said weight member has a short side, and a longitudinal side substantially parallel to the direction of an axis of said tubular body.
4 . The golf club grip as defined in claim 1 , wherein said tubular body is provided in the outer surface thereof with a recessed portion; wherein said weight member is disposed in said recessed portion.
5 . The golf club grip as defined in claim 4 , wherein said weight member has a thickness equal to a depth of said recessed portion.
6 . The golf club grip as defined in claim 1 , wherein said weight member is at least two or more in number, with said weight members being circularly fastened to the outer surface of said tubular body at an interval such that said weight members are symmetrical to a central axis of said tubular body.
7 . The golf club grip as defined in claim 6 , wherein said weight members have a short side, and a longitudinal side substantially parallel to the direction of an axis of said tubular body.
8 . The golf club grip as defined in claim 6 , wherein said tubular body is provided with a plurality of recessed portions equal in number to said weight members.
9 . The golf club grip as defined in claim 8 , wherein said weight members have a thickness equal to a depth of said recessed portions.
10 . The golf club grip as defined in claim 1 , wherein said tape body is made of a natural leather.
11 . The golf club grip as defined in claim 1 , wherein said tape body is made of a synthetic leather.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
