Sulfonyl oxazolones and their use for combating undesirable microorganisms
Abstract
Novel sulphonyloxazolones of the formula in which R 1 represents alkyl or represents optionally substituted heterocyclyl or represents a radical of the formula in which R 3 represents halogen, alkyl or phenyl, R 4 represents hydrogen or alkyl and R 5 represents alkyl or optionally substituted phenyl, and R 2 represents alkyl, a process for preparing these substances and their use for controlling undesirable microorganisms. Novel intermediates of the formula and a process for their preparation.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . Sulphonyloxazolones of the formula
in which
R 1 represents alkyl or represents optionally substituted heterocyclyl or represents a radical of the formula
in which
R 3 represents halogen, alkyl or phenyl,
R 4 represents hydrogen or alkyl and
R 5 represents alkyl or optionally substituted phenyl, and
R 2 represents alkyl.
2 . Process for preparing sulphonyloxazolones of the formula (I) according to claim 1 , characterized in that oxazolones of the formula
in which
R 2 is as defined above,
are reacted with sulphonyl halides of the formula
R 1 —SO 2 —Hal (III)
in which
R 1 is as defined above and
Hal represents chlorine or bromine,
if appropriate in the presence of an acid binder and if appropriate in the presence of a diluent.
3 . Compositions for controlling undesirable microorganisms, characterized in that they comprise at least one sulphonyloxazolone of the formula (I) according to claim 1 in addition to extenders a nd/or surfactants.
4 . Use of sulphonyloxazolones of the formula (I) according to claim 1 for controlling undesirable microorganisms.
5 . Method for controlling undesirable microorganisms, characterized in that sulphonyloxazolones of the formula (I) are applied to the microorganisms and/or their habitat.
6 . Process for preparing compositions for controlling undesirable microorganisms, characterized in that sulphonyloxazolones of the formula (I) according to claim 1 are mixed with extenders and/or surfactants.
7 . Oxazolones of the formula
in which
R 2 represents alkyl.
8 . Process for preparing oxazolones of the formula (II) according to claim 7 , characterized in that, in a first step, hydroxyketones of the formula
in which
R 2 is as defined above,
are reacted with urea in the presence of glacial acetic acid and
in a second step, the resulting products are reacted with phosphorus oxychloride.
9 . Sulphonyloxazolone according to claim 1 , characterized by the formula
