Abstract

Kireev's conception of the high speed movement includes method and apparatus, which comprises the hull or platform ( 1 ) with the multiple supporting pylons located at the bottom of hull ( 1 ) with the Kireev's Rolling Floating Propellers (KRFP)( 3 ) on axles ( 2 ). KRFP ( 3 ) is a cylinder with non-correct geometric shape, which is a closed or open Archimed's spiral in cross-cut section, the one end of the KRFP ( 3 ) is turned 360° degrees angle against another end. The uniqueness of the invention is that at its cruise speed, the vessel uses the water, repelled backward by KRFP ( 3 ) to create forward motion and lift. In the idle state the vessel floats on the water surface because of conventional KRFP ( 3 ) displacement. When the KRFP ( 3 ) rotates on its axles, because of continuously increasing radius, the contacting water is constantly repels from the KRFP ( 3 ) surface. Because the water does not cover KRFP ( 3 ) completely KRFP ( 3 ) repels more water down and backward, than up and forward, this creates lift, which is reduces waterplane area of the vessel and creates the forward motion. At the very high waves, bow of the vessel with KRFP ( 3 ) can be positioned in parallel with the surface of the raising waves.

1 . Concept, method and apparatus of new way of traveling on the water surface, where rotating of the Kireev's Rolling Floating Propellers (KRFP) ( 3 ) creates the propulsion. The KRFP ( 3 ) apprises a closed “Archimed's” or other spiral with ever-increasing radius in cross section and the one end is twisted for 360° degrees to the other end. The vessel's hull or platform ( 1 ) can be mounted on the pylons or any other structure. Pylons are connected to the KRFP ( 3 ) with the shafts or axles that allow KRFP ( 3 ) freely rotate or transmit the rotation from engine. 
 In idle state KRFP ( 3 ) is freely floating on the surface, because of displacement. When KRFP ( 3 ) start rotating, at the beginning stage the ever-increasing radius of KRFP ( 3 ) surface repels the water at the contact, creating the water flow in the down and backward direction, to the vessel's front.  
 When KRFP ( 3 ) is rotating with the cruise speed, the amount of water, repelled backward increases, and the amount of water, repelled down decreases, to match the vessel's total weight.  
 
     
     
         2 . Concept, method and apparatus of new way of traveling on the water surface as described in  claim 1 , in which, to increase the amount of the repelled water, the KRFP ( 3 ) has additional solid or Faltering crest ( 8 ).  
     
     
         3 . Concept, method and apparatus of new way of travelling on the water surface as described in  claim 1 , in which, to increase the amount of the repelled water, the KRFP ( 3 ) has notches or bumps on the surface ( 4 ).  
     
     
         4 . Concept, method and apparatus of new way of traveling on the water surface as described in  claim 1 , in which the KRFP ( 3 ) can have different radius.  
     
     
         5 . Concept, method and apparatus of new way of traveling on the water surface as described in  claim 1 , in which the KRFP ( 3 ) can be replaceable, to match the different weather/sea roughness conditions.  
     
     
         6 . Concept, method and apparatus of new way of traveling on the water surface as described in  claim 1 , in which the spiral in KRFP ( 3 ) is not closed and the vessel floats on the surface only because of water displacement of the vessel's hull ( 1 ).  
     
     
         7 . Concept, method and apparatus of new way of traveling on the water surface as described in  claim 1 , in which the vessel can have conventional propeller water or air, to allow the vessel not rely solely on KRFP ( 3 ).
