Slide fastener tape
Abstract
In a fastener tape having a tape main portion obtained by weaving and an element-mounting edge portion in which core strings are woven, foundation warps used for the tape main portion have a lower thermal contraction coefficient than the other warps. The core strings have a high thermal contraction coefficient. The warps adjacent to the core strings at an inner side thereof have a thermal contraction coefficient lower than that of the core strings. Therefore, it is possible to obtain a fastener stringer in which no puckering occurs in an element-mounting edge portion even after elements are attached, so that linearity can be secured.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed:
1 . A slide fastener tape having a tape main portion obtained by weaving and an element-mounting edge portion, in which a core string is woven,
wherein a foundation warp used for said tape main portion has a lower thermal contraction coefficient than the other warps, said core string has a high thermal contraction coefficient, and a warp adjacent to said core string at an inner side thereof has a thermal contraction coefficient higher than the foundation warp used for said tape main portion and lower than said core string.
2 . A slide fastener tape according to claim 1 , wherein the warp adjacent to said core string at the inner side thereof is composed of two paralleled yarns.
3 . A slide fastener tape according to claim 1 or 2 , wherein the foundation warp in said tape main portion is set to be thicker than the yarn composing the warp adjacent to said core string at the inner side thereof.
4 . A slide fastener tape according to claim 1 or 2 , wherein a weft is composed of two paralleled yarns, and the total thickness thereof is set to be smaller than the total thickness of the two paralleled yarns of the warp adjacent to said core string at the inner side thereof.
5 . A slide fastener tape according to claim 1 , wherein each of the foundation warp used for said tape main portion, the warp adjacent to said core string at the inner side thereof and a weft is composed of a textured yarn.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
