Abstract

This invention provides a method for treating a patient with neoplasia by an adjuvant therapy that includes treatment with an antineoplastic platinum coordination complex.

We claim:  
     
         1 . A method of treating a patient with neoplastic cells comprising causing cyclic GMP to increase in the neoplastic cells and exposing said neoplastic cells to a cisplatin derivative.  
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1  wherein the neoplastic cells are exposed to the cisplatin derivative at the same time cyclic GMP is increased.  
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 1  wherein the neoplastic cells are exposed to the cisplatin derivative before or after cyclic GMP is increased.
