Wind pressure releasable umbrella/parasol

Abstract

A wind pressure releasable umbrella/parasol each of whose plurality of main ribs has a brace tied to its lower end at one end and the other end hung free in a cantilever manner. An upper cover cloth is shading from the top ends of the main ribs and down to points corresponding to the free ends of the braces, on the hand, a lower cover cloth is shading from the free ends of the braces down to the lower ends of the main ribs. A slit of clearance is formed between slightly overlapped edges of the two cover clothes so as to release wind pressure exerted on the umbrella/parasol by allowing the wind to leak therefrom.

What is claimed is:  
     
         1 . Wind pressure releasable umbrella/parasol essentially comprising: 
 a spinal column:    a top hoop attached to the top end of said spinal column:    a bottom hoop encircling over said spinal column being able to slide up and down along said spinal column;    a plurality of main ribs whose upper ends being tied to said top hoop;    a plurality of auxiliary ribs each tied to said bottom hoop with its one end and connected to a proper position at the corresponding main rib with its other end;    a plurality of braces each tied to the lower end of corresponding main rib with its one end, and remained hanging free in a contilever manner at its other end;    an upper cover cloth shading from the top end of said main ribs and down to points corresponding to the free ends of said braces; and    a lower cover cloth shading from the free ends of said braces and down to the lower end of said main ribs;    with this structure, a slit of clearance is formed between slightly overlapped edges of the two cover clothes so as to release wind pressure exerted on said umbrella/parasol by allowing the wind to leak therefrom.    
     
     
         2 . The umbrella/parasol of  claim 1 , wherein each of said plurality of braces is inlaid into a containment kerf formed in each of said plurality of main ribs thereby saving useful space.  
     
     
         3 . The umbrella/parasol of  claim 1 , wherein said lower cover cloth is provided with a center hole for said main ribs to tunnel through thereby facilitating installation of said lower cover cloth.  
     
     
         4 . The umbrella/parasol of  claim 1 , wherein said plurality of main ribs are formed of non-articulated rods.  
     
     
         5 . The umbrella/parasol of  claim 1 , wherein said plurality of main ribs are formed of rods with multi-articulated joints.  
     
     
         6 . The umbrella/parasol of  claim 5 , wherein said multi-articulated main ribs are foldable in more than two sections.
