Abstract

Fastening device for fastening roof components to a connecting area of two adjacent roof sections of an aluminum roof, and fastening device comprises a mounting part for mounting the roof components and two clamps lying opposite one another, connected to the mounting part, and able to be moved from a first position in which fastening device can be placed on connecting area into a second position in which clamps, in the position in which fastening device is placed on connecting area, receiving connecting area between them, are pressed on the latter and/or engage in a part of connecting area so that fastening device is fastened on connecting area, and at least one of clamps on their side facing mounting part has at least two sections of which outer section facing away from other clamp, in the first position of clamps, is tightly in contact at least partially with mounting part, in contrast to which the at least second section, in the first position of clamps, at least partially does not lie in contact with mounting part and clamps are transitioned into the second position by having at least a second section of at least one of clamps moved toward mounting part.

Fastening device for fastening roof components to a connecting area ( 2 ,  27 ) of two adjacent roof sections of an aluminum roof ( 1 ,  26 ), and fastening device ( 4 ,  29 ) comprises a mounting part ( 5 ,  30 ) for mounting the roof components and two clamps ( 6 ,  32 ) lying opposite one another, connected to the mounting part, and able to be moved from a first position in which fastening device ( 4 ,  29 ) can be placed on connecting area ( 2 ,  27 ) into a second position in which clamps ( 6 ,  32 ), in the position in which fastening device ( 4 ,  29 ) is placed on connecting area ( 2 ,  27 ), receiving connecting area ( 2 ,  27 ) between them, are pressed on the latter and/or engage in a part ( 3 ,  28 ) of connecting area ( 2 ,  27 ) so that fastening device ( 4 ,  29 ) is fastened on connecting area ( 2 ,  27 ), characterized in that at least one of clamps ( 6 ,  32 ) on their side facing mounting part ( 5 ,  30 ) has at least two sections ( 15 ,  18 ,  40 ,  41 ) of which outer section ( 18 ,  40 ) facing away from other clamp ( 6 ,  32 ), in the first position of clamps ( 6 ,  32 ), is tightly in contact at least partially with mounting part ( 5 ,  30 ), in contrast to which the at least second section ( 15 ,  41 ), in the first position of clamps ( 6 ,  32 ), at least partially does not lie in contact with mounting part ( 5 ,  30 ) and clamps ( 6 ,  32 ) are transitioned into the second position by having at least a second section ( 15 ,  41 ) of at least one of clamps ( 6 ,  32 ) moved toward mounting part ( 5 ,  30 ).

Fastening device according to  claim 1 , wherein each of clamps ( 6 ,  32 ) has in each case two sections ( 15 ,  18 ,  40 ,  41 ) and, by moving section ( 15 ,  41 ) in each case facing adjacent clamp ( 6 ,  32 ) toward mounting part ( 5 ,  30 ), clamps ( 6 ,  32 ) can be transitioned into the second position.  
     
     
         3 . Fastening device according to  claim 1 , wherein both sections ( 15 ,  18 ) of the sides of at least one clamp ( 6 ) facing mounting part ( 5 ) are made flat and enclose between them an angle (α) so that, in the first position of the clamps in which respective outer section ( 18 ) of at least one clamp ( 6 ) lies in contact at least partially with corresponding surfaces of mounting part ( 5 ) and respective inner section ( 15 ) facing adjacent clamp ( 6 ) projects away from the connecting area with outer section ( 18 ), starting from mounting part ( 5 ).  
     
     
         4 . Fastening device according to  claim 3 , wherein angle (α) between two sections ( 15 ,  18 ) of clamps ( 6 ) is between 2° and 20°, preferably between 4° and 10°, in particular about 6°.  
     
     
         5 . Fastening device according to  claim 1 , wherein inner section(s) ( 15 ,  41 ) of at least one clamp ( 6 ) can be moved by screw means toward mounting part ( 5 ,  30 ).  
     
     
         6 . Fastening device according to  claim 5 , wherein the screw means comprise a nut ( 24 ,  46 ) made as a square nut that is received between two clamps ( 6 ,  32 ) so as not to twist in the first and in the second position of clamps ( 6 ,  32 ), and the screw means further comprise a screw ( 25 ,  34 ) that is accessible from the side of mounting part ( 5 ,  30 ) facing away from clamps ( 6 ,  32 ) and can be screwed into nuts ( 24 ,  46 ) for the transition of clamps ( 6 ,  32 ) from the first position into the second position.  
     
     
         7 . Fastening device according to  claim 1 , wherein mounting part ( 5 ,  30 ) is made essentially plate-shaped and has, in two opposite edge areas, contact surfaces ( 8 ) for outer sections ( 18 ,  40 ) of clamps ( 6 ,  32 ) facing away from one another.  
     
     
         8 . Fastening device according to  claim 7 , wherein outer sections ( 18 ) of clamps ( 6 ) facing away from one another are riveted in the first position of the clamps to contact surfaces ( 8 ).  
     
     
         9 . Fastening device according to  claim 7 , wherein essentially plate-shaped mounting part ( 5 ,  30 ), on its side facing away from clamps ( 6 ,  32 ), has a recess around a borehole ( 10 ,  33 ) provided for screw ( 25 ,  34 ) for receiving the head of screw ( 25 ,  34 ) preferably made as a countersunk screw.  
     
     
         10 . Fastening device according to  claim 1 , wherein clamps ( 6 ,  32 ) are made essentially L-shaped, with a leg that has both sections ( 15 ,  18 ,  40 ,  41 ) that lie at least partially in contact with mounting part ( 5 ,  30 ) and with a leg that projects away from section ( 15 ,  18 ,  40 ,  41 ) and from mounting part ( 5 ,  30 ) essentially in perpendicular direction and this leg has, in its end area, working surfaces ( 13 ,  47 ) for holding connecting area ( 2 ,  27 ) or part ( 3 ,  28 ) of connecting area ( 2 ,  27 ) of aluminum roof ( 1 ,  26 ).  
     
     
         11 . Fastening device according to  claim 10 , wherein working surfaces ( 13 ) have the shape of a hollow cylinder segment and the inner sides of this hollow cylinder segment face each other and can receive flanged part ( 3 ) of connecting area ( 2 ) between them.  
     
     
         12 . Fastening device according to  claim 10 , wherein, on the leg of clamps ( 6 ) projecting away from mounting part ( 5 ) there are placed, between mounting part ( 5 ) and working surfaces ( 13 ), movement limiting projections ( 14 ) facing each other and they lie in contact with one another in the second position to limit the movement of clamps ( 6 ) toward one another according to a predetermined clamp pressure.  
     
     
         13 . Fastening device according to  claim 1 , wherein fastening device ( 29 ) comprises a clamp unit ( 31 ) in which both clamps ( 32 ) are connected to one another.  
     
     
         14 . Fastening device according to  claim 13 , wherein both clamps ( 32 ) are connected to one another by two connecting bars ( 42 ) that have a predetermined breaking point ( 43 ).  
     
     
         15 . Fastening device according to  claim 13 , wherein both clamps ( 32 ) are connected to one another by a flexible tongue ( 44 ), which has a borehole ( 45 ) for passage of screw ( 34 ).  
     
     
         16 . Fastening device according to  claim 13 , wherein nuts ( 37 ) are held in clamps ( 32 ) and they are aligned with boreholes ( 35 ) in mounting part ( 30 ) and screws for mounting roof components can be screwed through these boreholes ( 35 ) into nuts ( 37 ).  
     
     
         17 . Fastening device according to  claim 15 , wherein clamp unit ( 31 ) and mounting part ( 30 ) are connected to one another in the first position by screw ( 34 ) and a square nut ( 46 ) placed on flexible tongue ( 44 ).  
     
     
         18 . Fastening device according to  claim 1 , wherein fastening device ( 4 ) is made essentially as a cast aluminum part.
