Abstract
A hair treatment composition, such as a shampoo or conditioner, which comprises a silicone component which comprises a silicone gum with a viscosity greater than 1 Mcs, a silicone fluid with a viscosity of less than 100kcs, and an amino functionalised silicone.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A hair treatment composition comprising a silicone component which comprises a silicone gum with a viscosity greater than 1 Mcs, a silicone fluid with a viscosity of less than 100kcs, and an amino functionalised silicone.
2 . A composition according to claim 1 , in which the silicone gum is dimethicone.
3 . A composition according to claim 1 or 2 , in which the silicone fluid is dimethicone.
4 . A composition according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the silicone content of the hair treatment composition is in the region 0.1-20% by weight.
5 . A composition according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the silicone gum having a viscosity greater than 1Mcs comprises less than 50% by weight of the silicone component of the composition.
6 . A composition according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the silicone fluid having a viscosity less than 100kcs comprises more than 30% by weight of the silicone component of the composition.
7 . A composition according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the amino functionalised silicone comprises less then 10% by weight of the silicone component of the composition.
8 . A composition according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the silicone component is in the form of a mechanical emulsion.
9 . A composition according to any one of claims 1 to 9 , which is a shampoo composition comprising at least one cleansing surfactant selected from anionic, amphoteric and zwitterionic surfactants and mixtures thereof, and further comprising a cationic deposition polymer.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
