Claims
Abstract
The present invention is directed to women's clothing apparel including a built-in bra. In preferred embodiments, the straps of the bra are fastened to the shoulder supports of a top garment substantially along the length of the shoulder supports from the front to the back of the garment. The invention also provides novel bras which can be advantageously used according to the invention.

1 . An article of clothing comprising:
a garment including a first garment support having a first length and a second garment support having a second length; a bra, the bra comprising:
(i) a body having a front, a back and a side; and
at least one selectively adjustable attachment arrangement for mounting the bra body to the garment.
2 . The article of clothing according to claim 1 wherein the selectively adjustable attachment arrangement is mounted to the first garment support.
3 . The article of clothing according to claim 1 further comprising a first bra strap attached to the front of the body and to the back of the body, and a second bra strap attached to the front of the body and to the back of the body.
4 . The article of clothing according to claim 3 wherein a first fastener fastens the first bra strap to the first garment support and a second fastener fastens the second bra strap to the second garment support.
5 . The article of clothing according to claim 3 wherein the selectively adjustable attachment arrangement is mounted to the first bra strap.
6 . The article of clothing according to claim 1 wherein the selectively adjustable attachment arrangement is mounted to the bra body.
7 . The article of clothing according to claim 4 wherein the first and second fasteners provide for selectively removing the first and second bra straps from the garment supports.
8 . The article of clothing according to claim 1 wherein the bra and garment are not fastened at any one of the front, back and side of the body of the bra.
9 . The article of clothing according to claim 1 wherein the first and second garment supports are spaghetti straps.
10 . The article of clothing according to claim 1 wherein the garment is a dress.
11 . The article of clothing according to claim 1 wherein the garment is a tank top with spaghetti straps.
12 . The article of clothing according to claim 1 wherein the selectively adjustable attachment arrangement includes a plurality of hook members
13 . The article of clothing according to claim 1 wherein the selectively adjustable attachment arrangement includes a plurality of loop members.
14 . A bra comprising:
a body having a front, a back and a side; and at least one selectively adjustable attachment arrangement for attaching the bra to a bra strap.
15 . The bra according to claim 14 wherein the selectively adjustable attachment arrangement includes a plurality of loop members.
16 . The bra according to claim 14 wherein the selectively adjustable attachment arrangement includes a plurality of hook members.
17 . The bra according to claim 14 further comprising a second bra strap.
18 . The bra according to claim 17 wherein the bra strap and the second bra strap each includes a plurality of hook members for mounting to the bra body.
19 . The bra according to claim 14 wherein the first and second bra straps each include a hook member for mounting to a selected one of a plurality of loop members on the bra body.
