Abstract
The invention is an enhanced stabilization method and improved upright utility containment unit for various serviceable objects. The unit comprises of movable interior and exterior cylinders, joined by a connector. Elevating the unit's interior cylinder, until stopped, activates operation of an integrally attached propulsion mechanism and drive component, which when released impacts the connector, to achieve a controlled alignment force to sequentially hammer the exterior cylinder downward. The internally muffled consistent impact force automatically obtains depth penetration and compressed ballast weight steadiness for the unit. A fiber strap, and latch hook, are attached to the unit for convenient portability and enables flexible capabilities to tether applicable objects, to the stabilized unit, thus preventing displacement while decreasing deterioration of the object by adverse conditions. The invention's new functional characteristics are maximized by a variety of compatible unique/novel features that are associated with the unit's support for many diverse usages.

1 . A functional operating Soil/Sand Stand Unit with Utilities comprising an insulating connector hammer means. Said insulating connector hammer means attributes to various functions of the invention i.e., joins the exterior and movable interior cylinders of the invention, reacts with the unit's working operating system to become a downward force driving hammer device, provides insulating and flexibility characteristics for objects inserted/contained above it from direct ground contact, assists the unit operator to align, by sight, the lower initial vertical unit installation, and enables the unit's adjustable fiber strap and latch hook to be attached to it for unit portability.
A cylinder means comprising the exterior of the invention. The said exterior cylinder means is utilized for anchoring the invention's lateral resistant movement stability, with both simultaneously achieved depth and ballast weight characteristics, in predominately a sandy soil environment. Said exterior cylinder means is securely affixed to the preceding said insulating connector hammer means. The said exterior cylinder means has an internally sharpened angled tapered bottom means to enhance depth penetration capabilities and maximize displaced material to be simultaneously forced into the said exterior anchoring cylinder means for compressed ballast weight within it, when acted upon by the invention's operating system. Additionally, the said exterior anchoring cylinder means has a compressed material ejection tool means that can be movably slide within the cylinder means, via a slotted cavity within a section of it, and the ejection tool used to discharge solidly compacted type compressed ballast materials from within the said exterior cylinder upon removal of the unit from it's environmental lateral movement resistant stabilized position. A movable cylinder means comprising the interior of the invention. The said movable interior cylinder means comprising the interior of the invention, and is encased within the said exterior cylinder means. The said movable interior cylinder means is sectionalized into an upper containment means and lower housing means. The upper containment means permits a plurality of objects to be inserted within it and enhances its utility and versatility of applications, as recited in claim 2 , variety of unique features. The lower housing means occupies the apparatus's operating system and the bottom end of the lower housing means is tapered to a point to facilitate housing of the propulsion mechanism means, of the operating system, to the said exterior cylinder means and maintains the said insulating connector hammer means above grounding potential. The preceding said insulating connector hammer means, passes freely through the said movable interior cylinder means via a slot cut within the movable interior cylinder, and permits the interior cylinder to be easily slid within the exterior cylinder means. The slot means, within the lower portion of the movable interior cylinder housing means, in addition to permitting the interior cylinder means to be slid within the said exterior cylinder means encasement, also provides a stop position for the said insulating connector hammer means when the said interior cylinder means is elevated, so the elasticity of the propulsion mechanism means, of the unit's operating system, is maintained within recommended stretch tolerances, and indicates to the unit's operator when the optimum depth penetration and merged soil/sand material compressibility has been achieved. The upper containment and lower housing means, of the said movable interior cylinder means, are separated by an initial safety stop and muffler means securely affixed to the said movable interior cylinder means. The initial safety stop and muffler means is installed above the propulsion mechanism means in case of an improbable catastrophic rupture of the unit's operating system and to muffle internal impact noise generated when the velocity of the drive anvil device means, propelled by the propulsion mechanism means, collides with the said insulating connector hammer means. Also, a sound damper encircles the upper portion of the outside of the said movable interior containment cylinder's means surface, and is positioned, to deflect internal impact noise and as a secondary safety stop to prevent improbable discharge of materials out of the unit when the said movable interior cylinder means is activated and released and comes in contact with the said exterior cylinder means outside, upper, distal end. In addition, an affixed means is attached to the said movable interior cylinder to enhance the unit's portability, by connecting the adjustable fiber strap, maximize flexibility for serviceable items inserted into the unit's movable interior containment means and assist the unit operator to align, by sight, the upper vertical unit installation with the lower said insulating connector hammer means. A propulsion mechanism comprising the unit's working operating system. The said propulsion mechanism is affixed to and communicates with both the said movable interior and anchoring exterior cylinders. The propulsion mechanism, is enclosed within the said movable interior cylinder means and comprises of an elastic material such that the invention's operating system when activated, and released, propels the movable interior cylinder, at a high velocity, within the said exterior cylinder such that the movable interior cylinder becomes a driving piston for the anchoring exterior cylinder means to produce an automatic, rapid, downward driven linear momentum penetration and displaced material compressed ballast apparatus. A high-density metallic hollow anvil, mass, driving component comprising the unit's working operating system. The said hollow anvil driving component means is within the unit's operating system and comprises of solid mass edges positioned to produce maximum inertia movement to the insulating connector hammer means, affixed to the exterior anchoring cylinder means, and intensify velocity transmitted impact forces from the propulsion mechanism means, for optimum downward momentum and displaced material compression stability of the invention The said hollow metal anvil driving component means, is securely encased and additionally restrained within the interior cylinder means such that the solid mass edges, of the anvil drive means, extends slightly below the upper portion of the slot means, and the mass body is located below the upper portion of the said propulsion mechanism means. The said propulsion mechanism means passes through the said hollow metal anvil driving component means and is secured to the interior cylinder means. Depending upon the physical size of the said hollow anvil driving component means, and said interior cylinder means, a central slit and/or orifice is cut into the hollow anvil means to accommodate a braking connector restraint means, such that the brake connector means may be positioned to accordingly protect the said propulsion mechanism means, and restrain the said anvil driving component means from movement, within the said interior cylinder means. Also, external slits are cut into the outside said anvil driving component means to simplify it's encasement installation within the said movable interior cylinder means. The said hollow anvil driving component means is positioned above, and in direct contact with, the said insulating connector hammer means when the propulsion mechanism is in an inactive state. The direct contact of the said hollow anvil driving component means and said insulating connector means are maintained by the said propulsion mechanism means inactive state thusly keeping the said movable interior and exterior cylinders in a stationary position prior to the activation of the unit's operating system. However, when the propulsion mechanism means is activated, i.e., the said movable interior drive piston cylinder is elevated, and released, the hollow anvil driving component, within the said interior cylinder means, rapidly slides through the said exterior cylinder means and generates a energy transfer by striking the said insulating connector hammer means. The energy transferred by the unit's internally propelled concussion of the said hollow anvil driving component means and said insulated connector hammer means causes the said insulating connector hammer means to react as a thrust force, on the said exterior cylinder means. The produced thrust force, exerted against the said exterior cylinder means, by the said insulated connector hammer means, produces an automatic downward linear momentum of the said exterior cylinder means and simultaneous soil/sand ballast material compression within the interior of the exterior cylinder means, assisted by the said internally sharpened exterior cylinder penetration taper means, such that it becomes an anchoring means, to resist lateral movement, within a soil/sandy environment. A comfortably positioned, solidly affixed or collapsible, secure grip handle means. The said grip handle means is secured to the said exterior cylinder means to assist the unit's operator in holding the assembled unit in an upright vertical position, in preparation of depth penetration/material compression. Also, the said solidly affixed or collapsible, secure grip handle means is used to counter thrust forces exerted by the unit's operating system and facilitates the necessary initial vertical installation of the invention to obtain a secure, lateral movement resistant, environment stand structure. Additionally, a rotational type locking means affixed to the said exterior cylinder means, and below the said grip handle means, to assure the grip handle is maintained in a perpendicular position to the invention's body when the grip handle is folded away from the unit's body. A pull up/activation grasp technique means, being capable of elevating the said movable interior cylinder means above the said exterior cylinder means, is attached to the upper distal end of the said movable interior cylinder means so it may be conveniently slid and elevated above the said exterior cylinder means to elongate the propulsion mechanism means, within the lower portion housing means, of the said interior cylinder means for preparation of an energy transfer to be applied to the said insulating hammer connector means by the said anvil driving component means. Thusly, upon manual elevation, and release, of the said interior cylinder means, in addition to being both a containment and housing means it also becomes a said activating drive piston means for the unit's operating system. A fiber strap, with adjustable capabilities, and latch hook means providing both unit portability and inserted object flexibility for the invention. The adjustable fiber strap carrying and latch hook means provides enhancement for the unit's convenient transportability, and one end of the fiber strap means is physically affixed to the movable interior cylinder means too capitalize on increased flexibility provided inserted objects by the elasticity motion afforded the said movable interior cylinder by the said propulsion mechanism. Attached to the other end of the adjustable fiber strap carrying means is a latch type hook means. The latch type hook means in addition to providing a connection for attachment, of the adjustable fiber strap carrying means, to the said invention's insulating connector means, also serves as a securing tether device, for various objects inserted within the said movable interior cylinder means of the invention, i.e., the said latch type hook means is fastened/clipped around a plurality of the inserted objects shafts, after the unit has been environmentally stabilized, which permits flexibility for the objects, while they are anchored in place, and decreases wear/tear of them but assures restraint of the inserted objects within the invention's said movable interior containment cylinder means.

A variety of unique features associated to the upper containment movable interior cylinder of a Soil/Sand Stand Unit with Utilities functionality, as recited in claim 1 , encompassing a cushioned notch receptacle means within the upper portion of the said movable interior containment cylinder means such that it enables numerous objects to be inserted either vertically or at various angles and securely contained within it. The said cushioned notching means is of primary utility pertaining to insert objects having their own form of operation, e.g., fishing reels and their corresponding rods being of such length to assure the inserted object's individual operation performs satisfactorily, and is not compromised by direct vertical erection, within the said interior containment cylinder means. The said notched configuration comprising an upper cut out section and a lower cut out section within the cylinder. The lower notched section is positioned directly opposite, i.e., 180 degree and below, from the upper-notched section, within the said interior cylinder. The cut out, notched, sections are then adequately cushioned to assist in protection of the fishing rod handle, from possible abrasion or scratching effects, during potential consequential fish catches and the stability of the rod, within the unit, enables and maintains tension on the fishing line to possibly assist in setting of the hook, if a fish strikes.
A holder means, which reduces the inside diameter of the movable interior containment cylinder means, thus enabling a multitude of various size smaller diameter serviceable insert objects to have their movement and/or displacement limited, within the movable interior containment means and the said holder means to be affixed to the said exterior containment cylinder means such that the said holder means may be inserted and/or removed from the said interior cylinder means containment. The use of the said holder means permits various size objects to be utilized with the invention, such that it expands the containment characteristics, and increase the versatility and utility of the invention by permitting various diameter objects to be used within the invention's containment means. Also, an exterior hook type device is attached to the said holder cylinder means to enable the unit to be used for multiple applications simultaneously, e.g., the combined usage of a fishing rod and beach umbrella together which further expand the invention's many diverse applications. A suitable base riser/upright means comprising a torque eliminating coupling and spacers to be inserted within the said movable interior cylinder containment means to further enhance the inventions versatility and utility. The said riser upright means comprising suitable connection means for suspending various athletic sport equipment to be attached, e.g., nets associated to badminton, etc. Suitability of the said riser/upright means to be flexibly affixed to the stationary positioned said unit grip handle means, which is physically attached to the said exterior cylinder means, for restraining the riser/upright within the interior containment cylinder means of the invention. A temporally secured adapter means which can be installed on the said base riser/upright means comprising a cap and eye type connection to facilitate increased utility of the invention by enabling such sporting events as tether ball to be play ed. A riser/extension means upright which can be attached to the said riser/upright base means to facilitate increased versatility and utility of the invention by suspending various athletic, sport equipment and/or moderate communication, signaling techniques to be attached, i.e., nets associated to volley ball play, communication techniques, ceremonial purposes, etc. The said initial riser/upright extension means is equipped with an adjustable guy cord and elastic strap with hook to assist in maintaining the vertical erection and both riser/upright extension means have a rigid support member and adapter attachment to enhance stability in the upright position. A detachable or affixed mechanical lift assist device to simplify manual elevation of the said movable interior cylinder that can be used by unit operators with restricted liking capabilities. The said mechanical lift assist device comprises a lift rod, which is used to activate the unit's operating system, by elevating the interior drive piston cylinder through mechanical advantage of compressed and expansion springs. The principal of leverage is used to make easier the force required to activate the unit's operating system. After activation the unit's operating system can be discharged by a trigger mechanism to release the drive piston and cause consequential impact of the unit's anvil and insulating connector means to achieve downward linear momentum, and stability, or the unit's anchoring cylinder for simultaneous depth penetration and compression of displaced material.

A combination of novel features associated to the exterior anchoring cylinder of a Soil/Sand Stand Unit with Utilities functionality, as recited in claim 1 , consisting of a snugly fitting attachment means, which can be slid over the said exterior cylinder means, to further expand upon the versatility and utility of the invention by enabling it to be used for home shallow surface penetration associated to gardening applications. The attachment means comprises two cylinders. The upper cylinder means is of comparable composition as the exterior cylinder means and the lower cylinder means is of a hardened metallic substance. The cylinder means are physically connected together and the hardened metallic cylinder means is slotted such that a fabricated component means can be slid within it for discharge of compacted surface material and the discharged material used to fill the penetrated shallow void. The fabricated component means is secured to both cylinders means by an elastic material means.
A slide retainer appurtenance means which can be fastened to the said exterior cylinder means, thus containing it, and enabling it to slide along the outside diameter of the said exterior cylinder means such that after the unit has been independently secured, in the soil/sand, the said appurtenance slide retainer means can be slid to grade level and loose soil/sand placed above and/or around it too assist in limiting excessive angular unit movement. This capability may be mostly beneficial for intensified sporting recreational activities. In addition, the said slide retainer appurtenance means can be affixed in an elevated position, on the said exterior unit cylinder, such that it is a small table to accommodate food, etc. enabling the soil/sand stand to become a portable shaded serving unit, when primarily used with umbrella applications, or as a bait cutting surface when used in conjunction with fishing applications, etc. This quality may be most advantageous during leisure activities, e.g., relaxation on a beach, etc. where it is desirable to avoid contamination with surface material.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
