Casing for pistols

Abstract

An improved casing for pistols, specifically designed for facilitating the pistol bearing and withdrawing, comprises a box-like body, the inner construction of which comprises two “C”-shape section members, a top section member and a bottom section member, coupled to an element of the casing, and a third section member coupling the other two section members and which is perpendicular to the latter.

An improved pistol casing, specifically designed for facilitating a bearing and withdrawal of a pistol, characterized in that said pistol casing comprises a box body, having an inner construction comprising two C-shape section members, i.e. a top section member and a bottom section member, coupled to a bottom casing element, and a third section member coupling said other two section members and which is perpendicular to the latter.  
     
     
         2 . An improved pistol casing, according to  claim 1 , characterized in that said inner construction is coated by two plastics, resilient and foamed material half-shells.  
     
     
         3 . An improved pistol casing, according to  claim 2 , characterized in that said plastics, resilient and foamed material shells are coated by a textile, leather or synthetic leather material.  
     
     
         4 . An improved pistol casing, according to  claim 1 , characterized in that said top and bottom section member and said casing element are made of a metal or plastics material and are designed for forming a top and bottom guide, in which said pistol can linearly slide as said pistol is withdrawn from or introduced into said casing.  
     
     
         5 . An improved pistol casing, according to  claim 4 , characterized in that said pistol is held in said casing by two locking means, i.e. a top locking means and a bottom locking means, arranged at an inlet of said casing.

An improved pistol casing, according to  claim 5 , characterized in that said first locking means comprises a locking lever, which can turn about a hinge urged by a metal blade spring, coupled to said supporting element through a screw said supporting element being coupled to said top section member by a further screw.  
     
     
         7 . An improved pistol casing, according to  claim 5 , characterized in that said second locking means is defined by a seat and a pressing element.  
     
     
         8 . An improved pistol casing, according to  claim 1 , wherein said casing comprises a seat having an abutment for a butt portion of said pistol, which is engaged by a protuberance included in said detent element for anti-fall binding said pistol, formed in said casing element in which is defined a throughgoing and threaded hole for housing therein a restraining element.

An improved pistol casing, according to  claim 1 , characterized in that said top section member is made rigid with said third section member by a metal bracket having tapering holes in which are engaged screw means and that said third section member is made rigid with said bottom section member by a further metal bracket.

An improved pistol casing, according to  claim 1 , characterized in that said casing element is made rigid with said bottom section member by a clamping element, a tapering screw engaging in a thread formed in a throughgoing tapering hole and in the walls of a seat of said bottom section member.  
     
     
         11 . An improved pistol casing, according to  claim 1 , characterized in that said pressing element provides a dynamical detent element which is lowered only under a withdrawal force greater than the pistol weight.  
     
     
         12 . An improved pistol casing, characterized in that said casing is a reversible casing adapted for either right handed or left handed persons owing to the provision of a plurality of riveted holes arranged on an inside side of said casing.
