Reduced cost impregnated wipes

Abstract

The present invention provides a method of reducing the cost of impregnated wipes, by including coupons for other companies' products or services within the packaging of said wipes. Also, a method is provided to track the sales, distribution and redemption of said wipes and coupons, and to electronically provide such information to retailers and advertisers over the internet. The present invention also provides an improved wipe package.

What is claimed is:  
     
         1 . A wipe package comprising a front sheet, a wipe secured to said front sheet, and a rear sheet coupon, wherein said front sheet and said rear sheet coupon are sealed together to enclose said wipe, and wherein said rear sheet coupon is adapted to be peeled off of said front sheet.  
     
     
         2 . A package according to  claim 1 , wherein said wipe has a notch, said notch sized and configured to permit an end of a human finger to be placed within said notch so that said finger is in direct contact with said front sheet, and so that said finger is not in contact with said wipe.  
     
     
         3 . A package according to  claim 1 , wherein said front sheet has a substantially curvilinear shape.  
     
     
         4 . A package according to  claim 1 , wherein said package contains a second rear sheet including a coupon.  
     
     
         5 . A package according to  claim 1 , wherein said front sheet is sized and configured to fit within a human hand.  
     
     
         6 . A kit comprising a plurality of wipes, each of said wipes impregnated with one fluid, said plurality of wipes including a plurality of different fluids.  
     
     
         7 . A method of doing business comprising the steps of: 
 providing a plurality of different types of impregnated wipes;    configuring each of said wipes to include one of a plurality of different types of coupons; and    collecting a fee from any advertiser whose products and/or services are advertised on a coupon.    
     
     
         8 . The method of doing business of  claim 7 , further comprising the steps of: 
 distributing said wipes to a retailer;    tracking information comprising the quantity of a particular type of wipe distributed to said retailer; and    providing access to said information to said retailer.    
     
     
         9 . The method of doing business of  claim 8 , wherein said information is included on a world wide website.  
     
     
         10 . The method of doing business of  claim 9 , further comprising the step of providing access to said information to any advertiser whose products and/or services are advertised on any coupon included in any of said wipes distributed to said retailer.  
     
     
         11 . The method of doing business of  claim 7 , further comprising the steps of: 
 distributing said wipes and coupons to a retailer at a particular location;    tracking information comprising the quantity of a particular type of coupon distributed to said retailer;    providing access to said information to that advertiser whose products and/or services are advertised on said particular type of coupon.    
     
     
         12 . The method of doing business of  claim 11 , wherein said information is included on a world wide website.  
     
     
         13 . The method of doing business of  claim 12 , further comprising the step of providing access to said information to said retailer.  
     
     
         14 . The method of doing business of  claim 11 , wherein said tracking step comprises the steps of: 
 providing on each of said coupons a bar code configured to be scanned to identify the type of coupon on which said bar code is provided;    scanning said bar code when the coupon on which said bar code is provided is distributed;    keeping a record of the number of bar code scannings that identify said particular type of coupon.    
     
     
         15 . The method of doing business of  claim 14 , wherein said information is included on a world wide website, and also wherein a software program is used to update said information on said website.  
     
     
         16 . The method of doing business of  claim 11 , wherein said tracking step comprises the steps of: 
 providing on each of said coupons a bar code configured to be scanned to identify the type of coupon on which said bar code is provided;    scanning said bar code when the coupon on which said bar code is provided is sold by said retailer;    keeping a record of the number of bar code scannings that identify said particular type of coupon.    
     
     
         17 . The method of doing business of  claim 16 , wherein said information is included on a world wide website, and also wherein a software program is used by said retailer to update said information on said website.  
     
     
         18 . The method of doing business of  claim 11 , comprising the further step of tracking redemption information, said redemption information comprising the number of times said particular type of coupon is redeemed at said particular location.  
     
     
         19 . The method of doing business of  claim 18 , wherein said step of tracking redemption information comprises the steps of: 
 providing on each of said coupons a bar code configured to be scanned to identify the type of coupon on which said bar code is provided;    scanning said bar code when the coupon on which said bar code is provided is redeemed;    keeping a record of the number of bar code scannings that identify said particular type of coupon.    
     
     
         20 . The method of doing business of  claim 19 , wherein said redemption information is included on a world wide website, and also wherein a software program is used to update said redemption information on said website.
