Visor attachment assembly for helmet

Abstract

The visor attachment assembly for mounting on a helmet comprising an elastic, flexible and resilient cover, hood or cap constructed, sized and arranged to be elastically received over a helmet and held thereto and a visor affixed to and extending outwardly from the cover, hood or cap.

I claim:  
     
         1 . A visor attachment assembly for quickly mounting and removing a visor onto or from a helmet comprising: 
 an elastic, flexible and resilient cover, hood or cap constructed, sized and arranged to be elastically received over a helmet and held thereto; and    a visor affixed to and extending outwardly from the cover, hood or cap.    
     
     
         2 . The visor attachment assembly of  claim 1  wherein said visor has a stiffener strip in or on the underside thereof.  
     
     
         3 . The visor assembly of  claim 1  wherein said cover, hood or cap is made of a mesh or net material to facilitate flexing of said cover, hood or cap.  
     
     
         4 . The visor assembly of  claim 1  including an elastic band fixed to or being a part of said cover, hood or cap and located adjacent a lower edge of said cover, hood or cap.
