Abstract

The purpose of the invention according to this application is to offer a load displacement preventing device and a method of prevention of load displacement using the said device in such a manner that the attachment and detachment thereof can be accomplished by a single person without requiring tedious work and without the risk of displacement or disturbance of the stacked load or of damage caused to said load during the attachment thereof. In order to achieve this purpose the invention according to this application protects the periphery of the load and prevents its displacement by using a load displacement preventing device ( 10 ) by installing hook type fasteners ( 2 ) via extendible/contractable (elastic) members ( 3 ) at the bottom of the initially wound part ( 1 a ) of the band ( 1 ) and by mounting hook type fastening members ( 2 ) in such a manner that the load displacement preventing device ( 10 ) constituted in this fashion hooks to any position on the load carrier platform (P) on which the load (A) is mounted, and by adjusting the winding position so that the boundaries of the respective load (A) are covered and protected while fastening said hook type fastener ( 2 ) by suitably pulling in the slantwise direction, and by mutually connecting the fastening means ( 4 a, 4 b ) after completely winding around said load (A) to bind it together.
