Abstract
Disclosed is a beverage bottle holder wherein a handled harness provides the user with a means by which to grasp a conventional plastic beverage bottle, essentially transforming the bottle into a pitcher-type assembly that allows the user to pour the contents of the bottle with a great deal of ease and control

1 . A beverage bottle holder for supporting a conventional beverage bottle, said beverage bottle holder comprising:
a bottle support harness having a cylindrical base portion and a cylindrical upper bottle support, said bottle support harness forming a cylindrical bottle receiving cavity; a bottle neck support protruding in a generally vertical direction from said bottle support harness and having securing means for attaching said bottle neck support to a bottle neck; and a handle attached to said bottle support harness and positioned opposite said bottle neck support; wherein a conventional plastic beverage bottle is supported in said beverage bottle holder allowing the contents of said plastic beverage bottle to be handled and poured with ease and control via said handle.

The beverage bottle holder of claim 1 wherein a conventional plastic beverage bottle is inserted in said bottle receiving cavity and secured therein by said bottle neck support, said securing means attached to the neck portion of said plastic beverage bottle, allowing said bottle to be handled and poured with ease and control via said handle, said base portion supporting said plastic beverage bottle from the generally rigid bottom portion thereof and said plastic beverage bottle support supporting said plastic bottle from the generally rigid upper portion of said plastic beverage bottle.
3 . The beverage bottle holder of claim 1 , wherein said bottle neck support cradles a neck of a beverage bottle from beneath, such that a mechanical impingement against the force of gravity is created.
4 . The beverage bottle holder of claim 1 , further comprising a second handle attached to said bottle support harness.
5 . The beverage bottle holder of claim 1 , wherein said conventional plastic beverage bottle is a plastic, 2-liter sized bottle.
