Novelty toothbrush

Abstract

A novelty toothbrush wherein either the entire toothbrush or alternatively just the handle portion, is fashioned to simulate a musical instrument or a related item.

I claim:  
     
         1 . A novelty toothbrush comprising: 
 a head portion, said head portion having bristles disposed thereon;    an enlarged handle portion, said enlarged handle portion constructed to simulate a body of a guitar;    a shaft portion, said shaft portion attaching said head portion to said enlarged handle portion;    said shaft portion constructed to simulate the a neck portion of a guitar and including simulated frets disposed thereon.    
     
     
         2 . The novelty toothbrush according to    claim 1   , wherein said bristles in said head portion are multi-colored.  
     
     
         3 . The novelty toothbrush according to    claim 2   , wherein protruding portions are disposed and arranged on said head portion to simulate the appearance of pegs on a head of a guitar.  
     
     
         4 . The novelty toothbrush according to    claim 3   , wherein said head portion, said shaft portion, said protruding portions and said enlarged handle portion are fabricated from plastic material.  
     
     
         5 . A novelty toothbrush comprising: 
 a head portion, said head portion having bristles disposed thereon;    an enlarged handle portion, said enlarged handle portion constructed to simulate a body of a keyboard; and    a shaft portion, said shaft portion attaching said head portion to said enlarged handle portion.    
     
     
         6 . A novelty toothbrush according to    claim 5   , wherein said bristles in said head portion are multi-colored.  
     
     
         7 . A novelty toothbrush according to    claim 6   , wherein said head portion, said shaft portion and said enlarged handle portions are fabricated from plastic material.  
     
     
         8 . A novelty toothbrush comprising: 
 a head portion, said head portion having bristles disposed thereon;    an enlarged handle portion, said enlarged handle portion constructed to simulate the body of a microphone; and    a shaft portion, said shaft portion attaching said head portion to said enlarged handle portion.    
     
     
         9 . The novelty toothbrush according to    claim 8   , wherein said shaft portion is fabricated from separable parts having two pairs of abutting side edges; 
 means for attaching one pair of said abutting side edges to each other.    
     
     
         10 . The novelty toothbrush according to    claim 9   , wherein said means for attaching is a hinge whereby said separable parts can be folded together.  
     
     
         11 . The novelty toothbrush according to    claim 10   , wherein said bristles in said head are multi-colored.  
     
     
         12 . A novelty toothbrush according to    claim 11   , wherein said head portion, said shaft portion and said enlarged handle portion are fabricated from plastic material.
