Abstract

An inert-gas mixture for use in metal inert-gas welding, in particular of nickel materials, is distinguished by a proportion by volume of N 2 of 0.5-2.0%, and the rest is argon.

         1 . An inert-gas mixture for use in metal inert-gas welding, in particular of nickel materials, wherein said mixture contains a proportion by volume of N 2  of 0.5-2.0%, and the rest is argon.  
     
     
         2 . The inert-gas mixture as claimed in    claim 1   , wherein the proportion by volume of N 2  is 1.0%.
