Abstract
A wireless device monitors for downlink control information (DCI) having repetitions in transmission occasions of a first bandwidth part (BWP). The wireless device receives, via a transmission occasion of the transmission occasions, a repetition of a DCI indicating a second BWP. The wireless device starts to switch, during a reference transmission occasion among the transmission occasions, from the first BWP to the second BWP.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A wireless device comprising:
one or more processors; and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
receive one or more messages comprising one or more configuration parameters indicating two search space sets for physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) repetition, wherein the two search space sets are associated with two control resource sets (coresets) of a first bandwidth part (BWP);
monitor, via the two coresets and in monitoring occasions in a slot, two PDCCH candidates for downlink control information (DCI) with a same payload;
detect the DCI, wherein:
the DCI comprises a bandwidth part (BWP) indicator field indicating an active BWP change of a cell; and
the active BWP change is based on a PDCCH candidate, among the two PDCCH candidates, that ends later in time; and
after detecting the DCI, set an active BWP of the cell to a second BWP indicated by the BWP indicator field in the DCI.
2 . The wireless device of claim 1 , wherein monitoring the two PDCCH candidates comprises monitoring PDCCH in monitoring occasions of the two search space sets.
3 . The wireless device of claim 1 , wherein the one or more configuration parameters further indicate a timer.
4 . The wireless device of claim 3 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the wireless device to:
receive, via at least one PDCCH candidate of the two PDCCH candidates, a second DCI, wherein the second DCI indicates a downlink assignment or an uplink grant; and start or restart, based on the PDCCH candidate, among the two PDCCH candidates, that ends later in time, the timer after receiving the second DCI, wherein the timer is a BWP inactivity timer.
5 . The wireless device of claim 1 , wherein the second BWP is a downlink BWP or an uplink BWP.
6 . The wireless device of claim 1 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the wireless device to switch from the active BWP of the cell to the second BWP.
7 . The wireless device of claim 6 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the wireless device to start switching to the second BWP based on the PDCCH candidate.
8 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a wireless device, cause the wireless device to:
receive one or more messages comprising one or more configuration parameters indicating two search space sets for physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) repetition, wherein the two search space sets are associated with two control resource sets (coresets) of a first bandwidth part (BWP); monitor, via the two coresets and in monitoring occasions in a slot, two PDCCH candidates for downlink control information (DCI) with a same payload; detect the DCI, wherein:
the DCI comprises a bandwidth part (BWP) indicator field indicating a second an active BWP change of a cell; and
the active BWP change is based on a PDCCH candidate, among the two PDCCH candidates, that ends later in time; and
after detecting the DCI, set an active BWP of the cell to a second BWP indicated by the BWP indicator field in the DCI.
9 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein monitoring the two PDCCH candidates comprises monitoring PDCCH in monitoring occasions of the two search space sets.
10 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the one or more configuration parameters further indicate a timer.
11 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 10 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the wireless device to:
receive, via at least one PDCCH candidate of the two PDCCH candidates, a second DCI, wherein the second DCI indicates a downlink assignment or an uplink grant; and start or restart, based on the PDCCH candidate, among the two PDCCH candidates, that end later in time, the timer after receiving the second DCI, wherein the timer is a BWP inactivity timer.
12 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the second BWP is a downlink BWP or an uplink BWP.
13 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the wireless device to switch from the active BWP of the cell to the second BWP.
14 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 13 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the wireless device to start switching to the second BWP based on the PDCCH candidate.
15 . A method comprising:
receiving, by a wireless device, one or more messages comprising one or more configuration parameters indicating two search space sets for physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) repetition, wherein the two search space sets are associated with two control resource sets (coresets) of a first bandwidth part (BWP); monitoring, via the two coresets and in monitoring occasions in a slot, two PDCCH candidates for downlink control information (DCI) with a same payload; detecting the DCI, wherein:
the DCI comprises a bandwidth part (BWP) indicator field indicating an active BWP change of a cell; and
the active BWP change is based on a PDCCH candidate, among the two PDCCH candidates, that ends later in time; and
after detecting the DCI, setting an active BWP of the cell to a second BWP indicated by the BWP indicator field in the DCI.
16 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the monitoring comprises monitoring PDCCH in monitoring occasions of the two search space sets.
17 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the one or more configuration parameters further indicate a timer.
18 . The method of claim 17 , further comprising:
receiving, via at least one PDCCH candidate of the two PDCCH candidates, a second DCI, wherein the second DCI indicates a downlink assignment or an uplink grant; and starting or restarting, based on the PDCCH candidate, among the two PDCCH candidates, that ends later in time, the timer after receiving the second DCI, wherein the timer is a BWP inactivity timer.
19 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the second BWP is a downlink BWP or an uplink BWP.
20 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising switching from the active BWP of the cell to the second BWP.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
