Abstract

Systems and methods are provided for generating an event type and extending event message streaming. The generating an event type includes receiving event definition data. The disclosed technology includes an event type generator that generates scripts in a variety of languages for processing an event of the event type and event dictionary data including event schema associated with the event type. The event dictionary data represents a lightweight library package for merging into a micro service. The event type generator further registers the event type in an event message streamer thereby extending the event message streaming with the event type. The event message streamer provides an event bus that receives an event of the registered event type from a micro service for publishing. The event message streamer delivers the event in an event message to one or more micro services that subscribes to the event type for consuming.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

       1. A computer-implemented method of processing an event having an event type, the method comprising:
 receiving a library package comprising exported event definition data associated with the event type;
 merging the library package with a set of instruction codes for a service;
 registering, based on the library package, for the event type with an event message streamer; and
 processing, using the library package, an event of the event type received from the event message streamer as a result of the registering.

       2. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the library package comprises at least one function of connecting, publishing, consuming, and validating the event type.

       3. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the event message streamer comprises an event bus.

       4. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the library package comprises a data schema associated with the event type.

       5. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the service is a first service that executes asynchronously from a second service.

       6. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the library package comprises a script used to process the event of the event type by the service.

       7. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising transmitting, by the service via the event message streamer, a second event using the library package.

       8. A system, comprising:
 a processor; and
 a memory storing computer-executable instructions that when executed by the processor cause the system to:
 receive a library package comprising exported event definitions for an event type;
 merge the library package with a set of instruction codes for a service;
 register, based on the library package, for the event type with an event message streamer; and
 process an event of the event type received from the event message streamer using the library package as a result of registering of the event type with the event message streamer.

       9. The system of claim 8 , wherein the library package comprises at least one function of connecting, publishing, consuming, and validating the event type.

       10. The system of claim 8 , wherein the event message streamer comprises an event bus.

       11. The system of claim 8 wherein the library package comprises a data schema associated with the event type.

       12. The system of claim 8 , wherein the service is a first service that executes asynchronously from a second service.

       13. The system of claim 8 , wherein the library package comprises a script used to process the event of the event type by the service.

       14. A computer-implemented method for event streaming for a topic, the method comprising:
 receiving, from a library repository, a library package defining a set of events associated with the topic;
 including the library package as part of a service;
 registering, via the library package, the service as an event recipient from an event message streamer; and
 processing an event of the event type received from the event message streamer via the library package.

       15. The computer-implemented method of claim 14 , wherein the library package includes at least one function of connecting, publishing, consuming, or validating the topic.

       16. The computer-implemented method of claim 14 , wherein the event message streamer comprises an event bus.

       17. The computer-implemented method of claim 14 , wherein the library package comprises a data schema associated with the event type.

       18. The computer-implemented method of claim 14 , wherein the service is a first service that executes asynchronously from a second service.

       19. The computer-implemented method of claim 14 , wherein the library package comprises a script used to process the event of the event type by the service.

       20. The computer-implemented method of claim 14 , further comprising transmitting, by the service via the event message streamer, a second event using the library package.
