Method and system for automated population outreach
Abstract
A system may include various user devices coupled to a cellular network. Each user device may be associated with a respective member of a predetermined population. The system may further include a contact management server coupled to the cellular network. The contact management server may determine a previous contact event of a user device among the user devices. The contact management server may further determine a selection of a first contact type for contacting the user device. The first contact type may be different from a second contact type of the previous contact event. The contact management server may further transmit a command that triggers the contact event of the user device based on the first contact type.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1. A method, comprising:
obtaining, by a contact management server and using an application programmable interface (API), a lab request for a medical screening of a medical test sample for a member of a predetermined population;
obtaining, by the contact management server, member data comprising contact information for the member of the predetermined population;
transmitting, by the contact management server and using the API, a notification that a package comprising a self-test kit has been sent to the member based on the contact information;
obtaining, by the contact management server, tracking information regarding a delivery of the self-test kit to a testing facility;
determining, by the contact management server, whether the self-test kit for the member is delivered to the testing facility based on the tracking information; and
obtaining, by the contact management server using the API and automatically in response to determining that the self-test kit is delivered to the testing facility, a physician's review of the medical test sample associated with the self-test kit.
2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
transmitting, by the contact management server, a message to a physician using an online portal,
wherein the physician's review is performed using the online portal.
3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the self-test kit is used for a fecal immunochemical test (FIT) colorectal cancer screening.
4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising
obtaining, from a virtual telehealth provider, the lab request using the API; and
transmitting, by the virtual telehealth provider, an approval of the lab request using the API; and
determining, by the contact management server, a back-end transaction for fulfilling the lab request in response to receiving the approval of the lab request.
5. A system, comprising:
a plurality of user devices coupled to a network;
a contact management server coupled to the plurality of user devices over the network using an application programmable interface (API), and
wherein the contact management server comprises a computer processor and a memory, wherein the contact management server is configured to perform a method comprising:
obtaining, using the API and from a first user device among the plurality of user devices, a lab request for a medical screening of a medical test sample for a member of a predetermined population;
obtaining member data comprising contact information for the member of the predetermined population;
transmitting, using the API and to the first user device, a notification that a package comprising a self-test kit has been sent to the member based on the contact information;
obtaining tracking information regarding a delivery of the self-test kit to a testing facility;
determining whether the self-test kit for the member is delivered to the testing facility based on the tracking information; and
obtaining, using the API and automatically in response to determining that the self-test kit is delivered to the testing facility, a physician's review of the medical test sample associated with the self-test kit.
6. The system of claim 5 , wherein the self-test kit is used for a fecal immunochemical test (FIT) colorectal cancer screening.
7. The system of claim 5 , wherein the method further comprises
receiving, from a virtual telehealth provider, an approval of the lab request using the API; and
determining a back-end transaction for fulfilling the lab request in response to receiving the approval of the lab request from the virtual telehealth provider.
8. A non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions executable by a computer processor, the instructions being configured to perform a method comprising:
obtaining, using an application programmable interface (API), a lab request for a medical screening of a medical test sample for a member of a predetermined population;
obtaining member data comprising contact information for the member of the predetermined population;
transmitting, using the API, a notification that a package comprising a self-test kit has been sent to the member based on the contact information;
obtaining tracking information regarding a delivery of the self-test kit to a testing facility;
determining whether the self-test kit for the member is delivered to the testing facility based on the tracking information; and
obtaining, using the API and automatically in response to determining that the self-test kit is delivered to the testing facility, a physician's review of the medical test sample associated with the self-test kit.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
