9. The method of claim 8 , wherein verifying the connectivity includes the user device transmitting, at substantially the same time, a first query ping to the first VPN server via the first respective VPN connection to determine connectivity with the first VPN server, and a second query ping to the second VPN server via the second respective VPN connection to determine connectivity with the second VPN server.
10. The method of claim 8 , wherein verifying the connectivity includes the user device verifying the connectivity based at least in part on determining a change in a technology utilized by the user device to access the Internet.
11. The method of claim 8 , wherein verifying the connectivity includes the user device verifying the connectivity based at least in part on determining a change in a location of the user device.
12. The method of claim 8 , wherein verifying the connectivity includes the user device verifying the connectivity periodically, a periodicity associated with verifying the connectivity being based at least in part on a technology utilized by the user device to access the Internet.
13. The method of claim 8 , wherein determining that the first respective VPN connection is terminated includes the user device determining that the user device failed to receive a response ping in response to a query ping transmitted by the user device to the first VPN server.
14. The method of claim 8 , wherein establishing the first and second respective VPN connections includes the user device transmitting, at substantially the same time, a first initiation request to the first VPN server and a second initiation request to the second VPN server.
15. A non-transitory computer-readable medium configured to store instructions, which when executed by a processor associated with a user device, configure the processor to:
establish, at substantially the same time, parallel virtual private network (VPN) connections including a first respective VPN connection with a first VPN server and a second respective VPN connection with a second VPN server;
